Hello,

I'm korean.

that's why my english is not perfect..so please understand.. ;)

I'm trying to Sync Mac and windows.

well.. just about osu.

I want to play same game settings between Mac and Windows7.

I'm using Synology 214 play.

Well first time..try to put all the things into NAS and play it on windows..
It looks works well but..when it start to load songs..it stops..haha (I have over 1000 songs)
also It's not same composition between windows and mac..
so I quit to start the game on Nas.

I already Sync Songs and Skins Folders (using "Synology Cloud Station Drive")

But I don't know how to sync my collection song list , scores and other..

That's why I want to know what are these below folders and files.
(what are the important things)

There are files and folder in Osu folder.

<Windows>
(maybe these not all)

[Folder]
Chat
Downloads
Localistion
Logs
Screenshots
Skins
Songs

well.. folder are easy to understand..but..

[Files]
collection.db
osu!.cfg
osu!.db
osu!.exe
osu!.[username].cfg
presence.db
repair osu!
scores.db

what are these?
what are they contains?

<Mac OS>
(maybe these not all)
(These are below drive_c folder\osu!)

avcodec-51.dll
avformat-52.dll
avutil-49.dll
bass_fx.dll
collection.db
d3dcompiler_47.dll
d3dx9_31.dll
Data folder
Microsoft.lnk.dll
Microsoft.Xna.Framework.dll
OpenTK.dll
osu!.db
osu!.exe
osu!gameplay.dll
osu!ui.dll
presence.db
pthreadGC2.dll

Mac OS is much more hard to guess...
dll files.. db files..

If I open it using Visul studio, It's all encryption and Hexadecimal or Memory address...
I can't read it.

Someone please help! :D

You should be able to share all files.
VeilStar
collection.db A database file containing your collections.
osu!.cfg A settings file containing certain settings as well as hashes of the dll game files (used for updating purposes).
osu!.db A database of all your beatmaps along with map-specific data, such as per-map visual settings and local offsets.
osu!.exe The osu! executable.
osu!.[username].cfg A settings file containing the vast majority of your settings.
presence.db A database cache of user data (such as their colour in chat).
repair osu! An executable that brings up a recovery window where you can change core settings, in case osu! won't run anymore.
scores.db A database file containing data about your local scores and replays (but not the scores and replays themselves).
Data folder Contains thumbnail images, replays, scores, and a beatmap submission cache.

All the .dll files are basically core game files, what they're for is relatively self-explanatory, but there's no need to explain these, really.

Anyway, I'm not entirely sure how you're running osu! on your mac, but I would assume you would have to use the Stable (Fallback) release stream if you want to sync game files and not just user data. If you're just syncing user data you should be able to use any release stream and you'd sync the following files and folders.
  • collection.db
    osu!.db
    osu!.[username].cfg
    presence.db
    scores.db
    Data folder
    Skin folder
    Songs folder
And the following files and folder are optional, but you could sync them as well.
  • Chat folder
    Exports folder
    Logs folder
    Replays folder
    Screenshots folder
