This would be pretty useful for those people like me who put their maps in their signature, and for other people that want to add stuff.

Pretty much, we can add something that says "Current Characters: xxx"

If 500 characters are reached, the Current Characters counter might turn red, and a blinking sound (such as when you type to the limit of a text box.) might occurr <3~.

I know that I can go on Microsoft Word, paste the document, and find the characters from there, but having this would be much more convenient <3~.

I kind of expected this when I first saw the 500 character limit as I update my sig. from time to time

If your signature is ANYWHERE NEAR 500 characters, you are doing it very wrong.

A counter is not necessary. Reduce it by ~300 characters.
