It will be awesome to have a version of osu! for linux users like me, I don't want to use windows anymore, but I can't throw it to the trash cause I wanna play osu!. So this is only a suggestion of mine but, "Onegaii" make a linux version, I will be undescriptibly happy :D

osu! runs with Wine afaik and there's also a Java client that runs decently enough to play offline.

Yea it's funny how wine is basically hurting linux instead of helping it, because about every dev points to wine and says no need to port because it runs.
So it should be more like a temporary fix.

osu!dev team have rewritten graphics engine from DirectX to OpenGL, and i think it's a matter of time to have native Linux version when .net will come out, or when osu! will be open-sourced :) Besides that, osu! on my Arch Linux with Wine is running smoothly, able to get 1k-2k fps on GTX660 GPU :)
