a lot of these are personal preference, so just ignore what you don't like

[General]
  1. Beatmap could use some nice hitsounds
  2. The use of all the 1/8's in "burning" diff and 1/4's in normal makes me think the bpm should be doubled to 190
  3. Also, I think meter changes from 4/4 to 3/4 starting from 02:22:060 to 02:59:323 - so you should redo your NCs in that section accordingly
[Burning]
  1. 00:30:271 (5) - Found this hard to read since it's perfectly underneath 00:29:639 (3) - w/o any stack offset. Maybe offset slightly?
  2. 00:31:849 (2,3) - prefer larger spacing here. the emphasis of 00:32:165 (3) - vs 00:31:534 (1) - shouldn't be much different since the song intensity is very similar in the two places
  3. 00:32:481 (4,5) - ^
  4. 00:35:639 (6) - ctrl+j and reposition for better flow
  5. 00:36:902 (3,4,5,6,7) - for nicer effect, maybe move 00:37:218 (4,5) - to where (7) is now and move (7) to [~282 ~70] so the player is always aiming slightly higher than before
  6. 00:46:376 - pause felt a little awkward during playthrough. either increase spacing between 00:46:060 (7,8) - or fill in space by extending slider/adding note
  7. 00:47:955 and 00:48:271 - these beats are strong and need something clickable even if you're following drums. maybe just break up sliders and use some circles for a small jump pattern instead
  8. 00:51:113 (7,8) - I think rhythm works better if you continue to use note + 1/1 slider
  9. 00:53:481 (8,9) - unstack here, there are two different drum sounds
  10. 01:01:692 (9,1,2) - the flow here isn't good, even if you're trying to emphasize (1,2). ctrl+h slider(2) or reposition
  11. 01:02:481 (3,4) - prefer circle + 1/1 slider here. follows vocals in addition to following drums
  12. 01:07:534 (3) - make this symmetric with itself?
  13. 01:11:955 - I hope you're just at the point where you haven't put in hitsounds yet, cause you can use some dope hitsounds here
  14. 01:15:744 (5,6,7,8) - try something like this, I think it flows better. http://puu.sh/lXkLe/06f64930e0.jpg
  15. 01:18:586 (3) - curve this more for better flow from 01:17:639 (2) -
  16. 01:23:955 (9) - either rotate this slider 90 degrees CCW or move to [~312, ~156]. it feels so awkward to jump up to (9) and immediately start sliding right
  17. 01:24:902 (2) - take 01:24:586 (1) , rotate 180 degrees and use it for this slider. you have a nice clockwise flow going so no need to ruin it here
  18. 02:23:955 (7) - angle to this slider could be sharper to give more emphasis imo
  19. 02:26:797 (6,7) - unstack, two different drum sounds
  20. 02:27:586 - it's totally fine as is, but there's a drum sound here if you want to use a circle instead
  21. 02:30:113 (8) - stack on top of 02:30:271 (1) - to give this more emphasis and follow drums better
  22. 02:34:692 (6,7,8) - replace with two sliders to follow drum better
  23. 02:43:692 (2,3) - unstack, two different drum sounds
  24. 02:50:165 (8) - should be higher to flow from 02:49:534 (7) -
  25. 02:50:481 (1) - maybe use 1/2 slider+ note instead to follow instrumentals + drums
  26. 03:05:007 (10,11) - bigger spacing plz
[Hard]
  1. 01:28:692 (5,6) - blanket these?
  2. 01:42:902 (3,4) - unstack
  3. 02:26:639 (3) - break into note + 1/4 slider. The snare drum deserves more emphasis than the bass.
  4. 02:46:692 (3) - take 02:47:639 (4) - and rotate 180 degrees for better symmetry
[Normal]
Looks fine
  1. 02:05:007 (1) - how about making this slider look like a pacman gobbling up 02:04:376 (4) - ? haha jk I just wanted comment on something...
Hope that helps and good luck! :)

a lot of these are personal preference, so just ignore what you don't like

[General]
  1. Beatmap could use some nice hitsounds
I agree. xD But I suck with hitsounding, so it'll take me a while to get that done. x:
  2. The use of all the 1/8's in "burning" diff and 1/4's in normal makes me think the bpm should be doubled to 190
Idk what it's called exactly but the loud beats match to 95bpm, not 190bpm, so I'm pretty sure that's the correct one.
But the timing overall needs some adjustments with offset etc. I'll see that I get it fixed sometime soon, but I don't know when exactly.
  3. Also, I think meter changes from 4/4 to 3/4 starting from 02:22:060 to 02:59:323 - so you should redo your NCs in that section accordingly ^ explained above, fixing this in the future!
[Burning]
  1. 00:30:271 (5) - Found this hard to read since it's perfectly underneath 00:29:639 (3) - w/o any stack offset. Maybe offset slightly? yep, changed
  2. 00:31:849 (2,3) - prefer larger spacing here. the emphasis of 00:32:165 (3) - vs 00:31:534 (1) - shouldn't be much different since the song intensity is very similar in the two places sure, moved (3) further up
  3. 00:32:481 (4,5) - ^ *
  4. 00:35:639 (6) - ctrl+j and reposition for better flow changed differently
  5. 00:36:902 (3,4,5,6,7) - for nicer effect, maybe move 00:37:218 (4,5) - to where (7) is now and move (7) to [~282 ~70] so the player is always aiming slightly higher than before changed differently, too
  6. 00:46:376 - pause felt a little awkward during playthrough. either increase spacing between 00:46:060 (7,8) - or fill in space by extending slider/adding note increased spacing
  7. 00:47:955 and 00:48:271 - these beats are strong and need something clickable even if you're following drums. maybe just break up sliders and use some circles for a small jump pattern instead I prefer the sliders here, otherwise it feels like an overkill '_'
  8. 00:51:113 (7,8) - I think rhythm works better if you continue to use note + 1/1 slider current plays better, imo. also adds more variety to the diff, cause honestly - it gets super monotonous after a while
  9. 00:53:481 (8,9) - unstack here, there are two different drum sounds okay
  10. 01:01:692 (9,1,2) - the flow here isn't good, even if you're trying to emphasize (1,2). ctrl+h slider(2) or reposition okay, changed
  11. 01:02:481 (3,4) - prefer circle + 1/1 slider here. follows vocals in addition to following drums okay~
  12. 01:07:534 (3) - make this symmetric with itself? changed this prior to the mod to something different :3
  13. 01:11:955 - I hope you're just at the point where you haven't put in hitsounds yet, cause you can use some dope hitsounds here * xD
  14. 01:15:744 (5,6,7,8) - try something like this, I think it flows better. http://puu.sh/lXkLe/06f64930e0.jpg I like the current pattern better .o.
  15. 01:18:586 (3) - curve this more for better flow from 01:17:639 (2) - okay
  16. 01:23:955 (9) - either rotate this slider 90 degrees CCW or move to [~312, ~156]. it feels so awkward to jump up to (9) and immediately start sliding right placed differently than suggested, but should be better now
  17. 01:24:902 (2) - take 01:24:586 (1) , rotate 180 degrees and use it for this slider. you have a nice clockwise flow going so no need to ruin it here changed
  18. 02:23:955 (7) - angle to this slider could be sharper to give more emphasis imo changed
  19. 02:26:797 (6,7) - unstack, two different drum sounds okay
  20. 02:27:586 - it's totally fine as is, but there's a drum sound here if you want to use a circle instead nice, changed
  21. 02:30:113 (8) - stack on top of 02:30:271 (1) - to give this more emphasis and follow drums better changed, but differently
  22. 02:34:692 (6,7,8) - replace with two sliders to follow drum better sure
  23. 02:43:692 (2,3) - unstack, two different drum sounds I like how it plays so I want to keep this as it is >o<
  24. 02:50:165 (8) - should be higher to flow from 02:49:534 (7) - changed slightly
  25. 02:50:481 (1) - maybe use 1/2 slider+ note instead to follow instrumentals + drums I prefer the current rhythm
  26. 03:05:007 (10,11) - bigger spacing plz okay, changed
[Hard]
  1. 01:28:692 (5,6) - blanket these? didn't blanket them, but made them symmetrical
  2. 01:42:902 (3,4) - unstack I like them stacked. '-'
  3. 02:26:639 (3) - break into note + 1/4 slider. The snare drum deserves more emphasis than the bass. okay, changed!
  4. 02:46:692 (3) - take 02:47:639 (4) - and rotate 180 degrees for better symmetry didn't want them symmetrical, but changed the objects around so it looks different now :3
[Normal]
Looks fine
  1. 02:05:007 (1) - how about making this slider look like a pacman gobbling up 02:04:376 (4) - ? haha jk I just wanted comment on something...
Actually, I like this idea really really reaaally much. XD is there any template for a shape like this? I don't know how to do it.. orz
Hope that helps and good luck! :)
Thanks, you've helped a lot!
going to update the map later when I'm done with hitsounds, hopefully.. xD

Hello, M4M!

  • General
  1. I think you can try slider tick rate 2 for this. A lot of the drum beats, especially in easy, can be covered by slider ticks if you do.

  • Easy
  1. Overall, I think you used little too much stack on easiest difficulty of the map set. Consider reducing some.
  2. 00:29:955 - 00:35:007 - 01:23:007 - Maybe a circle here. I think strong beat like this shouldn’t be ignored unless it causes difficulty issues.
  3. 03:20:481 (1) - This NC is inconsistent with other diffs

  • Normal
  1. 01:44:797 (1,3) - Blanket could be improeved
  2. 02:21:744 (1) - I think this rhythm ( http://puu.sh/lXRax/11ee2c94d7.jpg )is more consistent with 02:23:639 (2,3,1,2,3,1) -
  3. 02:29:639 (5,1) - I think it would be better to cover the strong drum at 02:30:113 - by using a single reverse slider, similar to 02:33:428 (2) - . This would follow the vocal better too
  4. 02:30:902 - 02:30:902 - Consider adding a note

  • Hard
  1. 00:23:007 (4,5,6,1) - I think it would play better if notes were placed in zig-zag

  • Burning
  1. First of all, since the song’s bpm is 95, but plays like 190, It plays as if the slider velocity is 1.1, (unless I’m mistaken). And that is little too low for insane imo. However, when I test played it, the map was surprisingly smooth for low SV. Still, I think it might improve playability and aesthetic a little if you increase SV multipler, at least for the kiai maybe.
  2. 00:22:376 (4,5) - This antijump isn’t ideal since it has identical DS as 00:22:060 (3,4) -. It’s in a slow part, so no big problem, but consider adding NC at 00:22:692 (1) - for reading purpose. I also think it might be better in general if beats with bigger gaps were better distinguished with slightly larger distance than you used.
  3. 01:25:218 (3,5,6) - 02:56:797 (3,4,5) - These can be more symmetric
Nice map. This is on of those maps where I come for a mod and learn new stuff lol. Good luck with the rank!

  • Easy
  1. Overall, I think you used little too much stack on easiest difficulty of the map set. Consider reducing some. I think the amount is appropiate for the Easy, considering the amount of stacks used in Normal. It just needs that many so the spread's okay, imo.
  2. 00:29:955 - 00:35:007 - 01:23:007 - Maybe a circle here. I think strong beat like this shouldn’t be ignored unless it causes difficulty issues. yup, added them!
  3. 03:20:481 (1) - This NC is inconsistent with other diffs whoops. fixed

  • Normal
  1. 01:44:797 (1,3) - Blanket could be improeved done!

  4. 02:30:902 - 02:30:902 - Consider adding a note sure!

I tried a lot of different SVs and this was the one that worked best for me. But it's the first time I've been mapping a 'real' Insane diff and tbh I don't know what I'm doing at all. But I'm really glad the diff is playable and I'll have to make some more major changes to the diff anyway, maybe changing SV is one of them. I don't know yet what exactly I'm going to do, but I'm going to keep this in mind when doing future changes!
  2. 00:22:376 (4,5) - This antijump isn’t ideal since it has identical DS as 00:22:060 (3,4) -. It’s in a slow part, so no big problem, but consider adding NC at 00:22:692 (1) - for reading purpose. I also think it might be better in general if beats with bigger gaps were better distinguished with slightly larger distance than you used. I don't remember why I used an anti-jump there so I just moved the circle to match the DS.. xD I'll look out for more stuff like this and try to improve readability
  3. 01:25:218 (3,5,6) - 02:56:797 (3,4,5) - These can be more symmetric They're not really supposed to be symmetrical. And it plays fine as it is (I think), so I don't see any reason to change them. '-'
Nice map. This is on of those maps where I come for a mod and learn new stuff lol. Good luck with the rank!
Haha, I'm really glad you learned something while modding! I guess that's a good thing.. owo
So many thanks for the mod and for the stars, too! I appreciate it very much! >w<
