Suggestion for osu (songs syncing with cloud)

I think it would be cool it you guys made it so it syncs your songs to your account so when you log on to another computer it automatically downloads to the other computer sense i play at home, and on school computers (placed osu in the home drive so you can play on any computer that can handle osu at the school)

This would take a lot of space on your cloud. Half support.

As for the title, it shouldn't be that vague. The should relate more to the topic like "Song Syncing to the Cloud".

that's too ressource hungry, especially when you are one of those with 50+ GB (40k beatmaps without videos)

you rather want to move your osu folder on a USB stick like this http://blog.ppy.sh/post/132211570533/20151030

Change request to beatmap streaming, and we got something going. The beatmap streaming feature would allow you to download the osu beatmap file and the optionally the background as you are playing it and would auto delete it after the play. Video, hitsounds, skin and storyboard would be ignored. Now this is starting to sound like a revamped version of osu!direct.

well if you think about it like steam's workshop, how it will sync between computers, steam itself has the ids for each workshop mod linked to your name, and then downloads it when and from where necessary

yeah i did that in the first place, its how i originally got it on there in the first place cause most of the computers in my school block the usage of osu's installer


On another note osu's servers keep track of the score set from each song correct? it could be possible to link the songs with your account when you login to osu, then if you dont have the song, you CAN choose to play it, like it will show up in like a dark grey color, but it will need to be downloaded before playing, after download it will look normal, like the other songs
