It's a fun watch. The music is good.
The characters have their charms and are decent.
The plot is pretty uninspired and focusses on cutesy stuff rather than straight up drama.
It's worth watching once although you are a bit late to take advantage of it's popularity since discussion has died down.

No. Problems especially arise when you leave idol series' and I think length holds some importance when talking about number of important characters.

Ok thanks! Iam now at ep 6 of seson1 and its very fun to watch i think kotori will be bae for life!

Anime is pretty nice but I love playing the game in my phone hehe

Good characters, Boring music with 1 or 2 good songs here and there (worse if we compare it to other Idol franchises)

A word of advice. Cover your ears when you see Kotori and Nozomi about to sing. Look away when Honoka looks like she's gonna say something bold. Get a box of tissues ready when Maki is on-screen. (What you do with the tissues is up to you)
I mean it's not bad but once you become a fan of Love Live you're basically an irredeemable weeb :^)

No, not the type of franchise (or series) to be good for years (reference anime: Cardcaptor Sakura), especially with Sunshine!!, from what I heard, focusing on...wouldn't continue, tyvm.
My experience limits me to School idol festival (JP and EN), and few from 77 Free Lossless Audio Codecs for all Love Live songs up to Trouble Busters like a boss weeb with 8 remixes, and Nico Puri * Joshi dou as the 78th. If you can map well, you can probably make good use of Love Live, especially START:DASH!! (unless it got/gets...deleted).
General word is, you may find at least one way to enjoy Love Live. Be it SIF, mapping, FLACs (while writing this, Nicopuri was playing), anime or whatever you like.

I think the opinions on Love Live are very split, I liked it, but i think you'll have to watch it yourself to see what you think of it, but I do recommended it. Good Luck

I was in bad times bro, school recuperation tests in the end of the year, I had no motivation to study, and then Love Live! was there for me, I watched all the series during the recuperation tests and each day I watched a Love Live! episode I studied so hard.
This anime gives you will to live, and do your stuff at real life. Now I passed the year, and I'm happy.

Ignoring Hayano and specially Kotori's squeaky voices, It's a good watch, even if you're not into music/idol anime. The CG makes it look awkward sometimes tho.

If you didn't get it, that's the only song where Hanayo's voice is epic clear you'll forget her actual cutesy voice, not counting Love marginal and Kokuhaku Biyori, desu! (Kotori's voice is bad indeed it ruins the clear voice we have in these 2 songs) (unmentioned songs use Hanayo's cutesy voice)
Personal opinion though, you don't need to agree. Her cutesy voice isn't that bad for me, but Kodoku na Heaven is indeed a lonely heaven.
