Hi, I'm soon getting this keyboard for the nice lighting :D But it'd also help if anyone around here can vouch for it's feel, I know some people like wubwoofwolf used the blackwidow 2012 version but I heard this version has a heavier feel, I mash my current keyboard anyway so I don't think it'd make much difference. Just someone be able to give an opinion :P

A lot of players tend to not recommend razor products due to the quality of the the switches.

Yeah I guess I can see why that might be, But I'm not much of a typist so it shouldn't bother me that much. + If I could, I would get the K70 RGB but due to personal reasons I can't

Is RGB an important feature to you? What other keyboards would you consider buying.

Well no it's just a gift, I currently have the K70 red, pretty amazing. I like it a lot. I know it's a lot better than the Blackwidow in terms of quality, just wondering which one should I mainly use if the quality downgrade is a lot, and which one will go in the closet or lend to a friend

And I really like the concept of RGB and frankly have never had the time to use it. But if it's gonna go to a point where it bothers me playing, then I'll decline

If RGB isn't all that important then have you tried looking into the CMSTORM series of mechanical keyboard they are extremely durable and fairly cheap. Max, DAS, and Ducky also make pretty good mechanical keyboards.

No it's not really that, I'm not looking for a new mechanical keyboard. My K70 works great. Just want one that has a good RGB asthetic so it color matches my build. Since I'm getting this blackwidow from a friend, just needed an opinion beforehand to see it's quality. If it types well, that's all i really need to know
