To tell the truth Wolfy, there are a lot of white pixels around the comboburst and fruitcatcher sprites. I don't mean to be passing out bad insults but considering the small amount of content and the fact that you just did this in 4 hours doesn't add to that. Skins are supposed to be worked on patiently, not scrambled around with all willy-nilly! I'd have to say that with the content, it's actually WORSE than what I started out with on my skin. It took a year to get it where it is Wolfy, but that's mostly because I abandoned it around June and then revived it today. For 4 hours it's a good job though. But when you update the screenshots, please make sure that it's rid of white borders. By the way, some osu! players have 800x600 screens or smaller, so please put the screenshots in a spoilerbox. I have NINE screenshots for my skin but I put them all in 3 boxes- 3 shots for each gametype.
Now I know that you're new to this but by tomorrow morning I'll have a Paint.NET tutorial for you on YouTube.
Please don't take this as bitching, because this is a common form of criticism and advice here on the forums. Skins take long hard work, so pick a subject that you enjoy to make it fun for yourself. I don't need to be motivated by money; Just the happy faces of approval of my work.

I did read the first sentence and I understand, but I worked on my skin for half a month before even MENTIONING the skin. All I ever said was "brb making a skin". And good thing as well, because it looked like shit when it started out, and imagine it having screenshots made over one pixel.
You said the skin was for Sonicfan20? He bitches at me constantly about not wanting to download WinRAR for whatever batshit insane reason that I don't know. I doubt he's going to get WinRAR for a gift. I know that you can just make it for general release, but at least keep it somewhat of a secret before releasing it.
Perhaps you should give it more time before revealing the next part of it; get rid of those extra pixels around the borders.
P.S. No need for capslock. If you don't want criticism to help your skin that's fine. Please look at my Weegee skin thread to see that you're acting how I did at one point about criticism "O AT LEEST IM TRYIN". Well criticism is important for life, it tells you how your work can possibly be better.

He already knows about the skin...for atleast a month or two now. I started making progress on it a month and a half ago then gave up out of disappointment...i recently started reworking it. Yes. An osu! replay uses the set skin of the viewer of the replay which means that we won't get to see the skin. Use some sense, WolfChan. I'm in the 7th Grade and my ways of showing off a skin make more sense than yours.Feno wrote:

doesn't seem to be much of a skin...I'm going to tell you pretty much the same thing I told Weegee when he started his skin. Don't just shit out content and then slap it up and say "It's a work in progress I'll go back and redo it". Make the stuff you have look good as you can make it before you post it. Even if you are not done working on your skin, what you have looks like crap so what's the point?
For once I agree with Weegee; go back and fix that white shit around your crops/cutout images or whatever, and neaten up your ctb character, it looks pretty sloppily drawn and colored/lined.
Are you planning to add more content? I hope so because otherwise this skin--cleaned up and all--wouldn't really be worth downloading.

Yeah I'll download and try it anyway out of being a friend, but that doesn't mean that my opinion would be biased toward calling this a good skin.
