For example, people may really hate streaming in osu and they may think it is annoying.

So I thought of Stream Levels(hopefully no one in the past told about the idea), which would be:

((objects*60)/draintime)^0.5.
*Please note that draintime is in SECONDS
That formula would determine what level would it go into, however most of the tracks would end up with decimal number, therefore you round up or down according to the decimal.

For example using this formula,
Objects = 632
Drain Time = 199
Objects per Minute = 191
Level = 13.8 (round up to 14)

What do you think of the idea?

So like a counter which says how hard it is, SOLELY based on streams?
I don't like this, as I don't know any streamy map which has no jumps (thus that is left out, which will give a confusing difficulty)

Sorry. I just confused myself there. :P

What I meant to say is that one where only Streams are counted and the stars would be used as Jumps + Streams.

Sorry about that.

This doesn't really...do anything.
It's basically an artificial number that tells you the objects per minute.
But this says literally nothing about streams in the map as higher bpm maps(something you can already see) will naturally get a higher "stream" level and Objects/Duration of the map are already things you can see and make an educated guess how streamy the map will be without needing an extra number that has no further information to the map.

I guess so...

There's already a far better formula used in making pp work that determines this, it'd be nice if we could use that instead.
