Do a zts pack so you can add your own set to a pack.
Damn I forgot....Mao wrote:
I don't think a Nekomata Master pack would make sense as many of the downloads are not available anymore...
Long way to go sadly ;-; But for some reason the English Pop / Rock projects are more successful than the Japanese projects, even though you would expect the opposite.Mao wrote:
However, I agree with the others Desp has listed. Also I'm interested to see how the Paramore project progressesses so that a pack would be possible in the distant future as well.
Nah I disagree. I think people would rather download a "Hastune Miku" or "Megpoid Gumi" pack than packs for actual composers that are way less known.Mao wrote:
Also to the vocaloids, I'd rather do packs for the actual composers like Giga-P.
But vocaloids get recognized more than composers and producers.Mao wrote:
I actually think the producers are quite famous tbh.
I haven't wrote anything to the other suggestions yet since I've got to take more time checking them.Desperate-kun wrote:
I will point out artists that have a lot of beatmaps mapped and which I think are pretty popular in this game.
Artists where beatmap packs would make sense:
- Renard (all of his identities) Blue Dragon and I are working on this currently.
- t+pazolite
- Infected Mushroom
- Hanatan, yuikonnu, nano (all seperate of course, but they all do vocaloid covers... vocaloids itself should get packs but i suppose that's more theme-related packs) What about a pack for Utaite? (these are commonly people covering vocaloid songs and uploaded on NND, I honestly see potential)
- One Ok Rock
- Yousei Teikoku
- Dragonforce
- Feint
- Pendulum
- FELT
- Halozy
- xi
- Nekomata Master
- Memme (nice memme)
- sakuzyo
- M2U They could be used either for BMS or IIDX packs, depending from where their songs coming from. I planned to rework the two IIDX packs anyway.
- Sharlo
- Nightwish, My Chemical Romance (not entirely sure of their popularity in the game)
Artists where beatmap packs would make sense in the future:
- Marina and the Diamonds (already many beatmaps, but my mapping project is going well so it makes more sense to wait until full albums are mapped) Yeah, I've been poking you on skype for that already.
- Camellia (people are into mapping drumstep lately so I would wait for more maps)

(Standard)

https://osu.ppy.sh/b/739265 (assuming it'd be ranked)

(Taiko)

(etc)
-> Standard Pop Set with stuff like https://osu.ppy.sh/b/178489? Could be done, might be too general like the examples I gave in OP.
-> Dragonforce Set?
-> osu! x cYsmix Set? I indeed had the though to make an osu! Beatmap pack including the new cYsmix tracks, the two osu! Tutorial maps, circles! and Sunrise from osu!stream.
-> Asterisk Set? Idk, there have been many xxx - xxx (Asterisk Remix) lately, https://osu.ppy.sh/p/beatmaplist?q=aste ... 0&la=0&ra=
Also completely supporting the Camellia Set
-> 2B Set? I guess that'd be more of a Gimmick Ranked Request thing :v
I got the reaction I wanted from Stefan through it, though ;pMao wrote:
I love how people already shot stars on this lol
It's in some points similar to deadbeat's Achievement Thread where suggestions and ideas can be posted and bundled on one place.Constantine wrote:
isn't this thread should be moved somewhere, like beatmap projects subforum?
Looks with 10 beatmaps a bit poor and the Utaite Packs should overlay this already, topic-wise.Pannari wrote:
Stefan, would a Reol pack be appropriate? I could start working on that.
