High refresh rate can definitely help for reading AR 10+ I think. Might add that CRT's (cathode ray tube) are a super cheap monitor to get high refresh rate, before my current LCD monitor I played with my parent's CRT from the 90s @ 160 Hz. Downside is that the resolution is usually bad and they aren't too bright, but hey tiny res means less latency usually.
