Yay, more Undertale maps!

Here is a mod for the insane difficulty.

General Thoughts: Although I love Megalovania, I was disappointed by this map because there were very little (if any) interesting rhythms in it.

00:45:241 - Seems like it's missing a circle.

00:55:866 (3) - This doesn't really fit here.

00:56:741 (3) - This doesn't match any rhythm.

00:57:366 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - These 16th notes seem unnecessary.

01:05:366 (1) - This part can use a stream/16th notes, until 01:05:678.

01:06:116 (1) - Slider is 1/2 beat too early.

01:07:366 - The rhythm that is mapped here is boring compared to the rhythm in the music. The rhythm in the bass is much more interesting. For example,


01:09:366 (1) - 01:25:366 (1) - The melody has 16th notes here, but there aren't any 16th notes mapped.
01:11:116 (1,2,3) - 01:27:366 (1,2,3) - The melody doesn't have 16th notes here, but 16th notes are mapped.

01:15:366 (1,2,3,4) - 01:16:366 (1,2,3,4) - 16th notes here don't really make sense.

01:19:366 (1) - 01:21:366 (1,2) - Either make this a long slider, or make it 16th note ticks, or stream.
01:20:366 (1,2,3,4) - 8 sliders here would match the melody:


01:28:366 (1,1,1,1) - This doesn't fit the music.

01:29:366 (1,2,3,4) - Something like this would fit the music better:


01:31:991 (2,3,4) - This doesn't fit the music.

01:32:366 (1,2,3,4) - The music doesn't become less intense, but the difficulty suddenly dropped off for no reason.

01:34:366 (1,2,3,4,5) - Doesn't really fit the music.

01:36:366 (1,2,3,4) - Put 01:37:366 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) here instead.

01:38:366 (1) - You can map a more interesting rhythm here:


01:39:366 to 01:55:366 - The rhythm in the bass is much more interesting than what you have mapped here.

01:53:616 (2,3) - These don't really make sense.

01:57:991 - 01:58:991 (7) - 01:58:991 (7) - 01:58:991 (7) - 01:58:991 (7) - The rhythm would be more interesting if you added a circle here.

01:58:991 (7) - 02:10:991 (1) - This doesn't match anything.

02:14:366 (1) to 02:14:366 (1) - The rhythm in the bass is much more interesting than the rhythm mapped here.

02:18:116 (7,1,2,3,4,5,6) - This doesn't match anything.

02:19:866 (3,4) - The guitar melody is playing 16th notes here.

02:23:366 (1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,1,2,3,4) - Groups of 3 8th notes would work better here. Example:


02:29:366 (1,1,2,3,1,1,2,3,1,1) - The gaps don't match the music.

02:33:366 (1,2,3,4) - This place could use 16th notes.

02:44:991 (1) - Separate the last 3 ticks of this slider to match the melody.

02:47:366 (1,1,2,3,4,5,6) - 03:07:116 (4) - Doesn't match anything.

01:07:367 up to 01:10:991 - since the map is fast and full of consistency the reading part here seems a little hard for someone who doesn't know the map and it's still hard even after few tries maybe a little more spacing to it

01:21:366 up to 01:23:241 - i don't think that this part should be slowed down maybe some little patterns could do the trick :)

02:27:741 and 02:28:866 up to 02:29:241 - it is one of the faster parts in the song and i don't think that you have to be slow in that part since the map isn't like stamina killing


02:47:366 up to 02:51:303 - perfect solution for no deathstream ;)

Uh any chance on making a actual insane difficulty? The insane you have right now is over 5* and the only thing lower than that is a Hyper , also good luck on the map 8-)

just a couple of comments:
1. why not rename the difficulties a little, 5.5* is way to high for an insane but 4.21* looks about right (idk if the difficulty is super inflated in them or something so if it is disregard this but still), you could rename insane to another and hyper to insane, or hyper to insane, insane to extra, extra to extreme, extreme to ultra idk
just avoids confusion is all

2. why is the od so low, od 6.6 on a 5.5* is weird honestly, but the main one is od4 on a 4.21*, literally just why (also maybe raise the od above 8 on excors, it fits the difficulty/harshness of it more imo)

3. maybe make the AR transition a little smoother, ar8.5 might be a little low for hyper but it's okay imo, ar9 for insane is a little too low i think, especially considering the jump from ar9 to ar9.7 from the gap between insane and extra, even though (at least imo) the gap is relatively small in difficulty (Extra is a lot more streamy but otherwise straightforward in the same way as Insane just a little harder)

i'd make a comment about mapping 1/4 that isn't there being overdone, but i'm not exactly great at mapping and people seem to do it a lot so w/e

Or at least make the difficulty gap considerably low in lower diffs and relatively high diff gap at the end is fine too but that does not mean 3* difficulty gap at the end, but in the example you provided... That is not a common case for 2* difficulty gap which seems to wide.

Or make a slowly increasingly difficulty gap is fine too.

Routing isn't a good example for diff spread to start with, since the mapper had mapped the extra and comfort with a very specific style in mind, in which a difficulty in between is difficult to make, adding to the fact that the song is essentially 288 bpm

Hi, my quick mod by request!

General:
Add an epilepsy warning, it's a great storyboard, but VERY flashy.

Insane
- First of all i think you should change the AR from 9 to something between 9,2 to 9,4 to lower the object density since it might cause trouble reading patterns at 240 BPM.

00:34:991 (1,2,3,4,5,1) - you left out a tick between the stream and the slider, you should either leave a bit of space between those or fill the tick with another stream circle.

00:49:866 (4,1) - try putting an equally spaced circle on the red tick between those, the pause feels really awkward and the music seems to allow it.

01:09:366 (1,2) - good opportunity to use a 1/4 stream or sliders instead of 1/2 sliders.

01:25:366 (1) - ^

I actually didn't find anything significant here, seems good!

Not a lot because i am unsure about alot of things.
- This might come down to preference but a suggestion would be to make 01:09:366 (1) - shorter and have it repeat 1/4 instead of 1/2.
