Problem Details:
You cannot change the in-game language in the settings. It will reset the game, but will not change.

osu! version: 20151107.4 (latest)

something wrong with your internet connection? 'cause you have to download the new language pack

works fine for me

2 things you could check after changing the language in-game:
- See if the language is in the Localisation folder in the osu! folder.
- Open the osu!.<windows username>.cfg file with any text editing program, such as wordpad or notepad, and search for the Language = line, and see if it's set to the language you changed it to.

If the language is actually downloaded it should be in the Localisation folder. If it's not, well, something must be stopping it from downloading.
If the Language setting in the .cfg file didn't change but you do have the localisation file, osu! might not be able to change the language setting in this file. Make sure the file is not set to read-only.

Try to repair osu! ?

Launch osu!.exe and press shift until you have a "osu! configuration" window. Then, click on "repair osu!".

I had the same issue a few minutes ago lol xD

U can fix it ez. Just go to Download -> Download the new installer -> Run the new osu! installer.

It worked perfectly after that 8-)

Seems like osu! fails to change the language when there's no Localisation folder.

Create a folder inside the osu! folder named Localisation. Then start osu!, and change the language.
That should do the trick for now.

Also confirming this.
