Replay timeline bar

A timeline bar just like on the top right of the main menu while spectating to easily look through a replay.


I saw a post about this from 2008, Peppy already replied this was impossible. I thought that, since this was a few years ago, now it would maybe be possible.
If so I think a lot of people would appreciate it.

This is eventually planned, and some of the framework is already in place, but it's on hold while more pressing changes are made.

Just a little not for this:
Something like 1 year and a half ago I was playing offline and I don't know what I pressed, but suddenly I was able to do exactly what you ask here.

To be precise, my number buttons (1-9 on the left of hte keyboard, not the numpad) were able to set a different play rate of the replay
5 was the normal speed (x1), 1-4 were for playing the replay backwards with increasing speed as you go more to the left and for 6-9 the same, just the opposite way around.

Unfortunately it lasted few replays and I wasn't able to reeplicate it anymore after that, but it was hilarious seeing auto playing backwards lol

Alright, strange events aside, this is perfectly possible, it just needs time :)

It's a cutting edge feature. You can control replay speed using the numbers on the keyboard. It got added recently, so I have no idea how you did that more than a year ago :\

It just happened for a few replays and I don't remember what I clicked
