so uh, sorry if it sounds stupid, but i just want to clarify something... uhh that's why i ask.. (sorry if everything is written in my point of view only, from what i observe... heheh)

lately i'v saw many mods posted in some qualified maps.. in some point, it sparks some drama because the mappers don't want to apply the mod.. but at some point, the mod looks important enough to be applied and updated..

the question : is mapper allowed to update their mapset in qualified state, whether there's some modding posts? or wait for QAT disqualify post first?
considering this
This category is recommended for people who:

people seems just want to help improving the mapset quality..

'-' erm, that's all..

I just tried to update a qualified map of mine (for testing purposes), and I couldn't.

So yeah, it has to wait for a DQ (be it manual or by routinary check by QATs)

ahh.. sounds like a yolo testing xD

thanks! well at least i got conclusion, even when community wants some stuff should be fixed / updated once this map gets qualified, it has to wait for a DQ by QATs discreet.. '_J' drama can't be avoided though...

Just PM a QAT to DQ the map for you (only if you are involved in the map)

How to avoid dq drama:
  1. dont make a scene
  2. handle issues maturely
Aaaand that's it

If there are many mods and informative feedback to improve it posted in a qualified map, that would probably mean it isn't up to the standard of (?)quality(?), thus qualified or not, it is not ready? So there is no point in updating it in the qualified state, because it is not ready. Whether or not the mapper wants to apply them, the QAT will then decide if any points make sense and will help the map be better, and things will just carry on from there when there's a DQ, or even better the mapper agrees to them and requests a DQ if it's early enough. Saves all the trouble. Everything still goes back to the point that if change is required, it should be disqualified.

You can always report to a QAT if you find a map that many people report issues on.

And delete posts and mute, no firelighter and there's no campfire :D

Request QATs for DQ only if you (or the QAT member) find it necessary, ex. you have enough mods that'd raise the map quality a lot, to avoid time wasting :3

That's the wrong approach. You want to have something DQd already when you already want to debate about some things. You can drop mods on the progress of said discussion.

Maybe I can scout for newQATs when I see BNs starting to hover around Qualified beatmaps and start discussions about possible issues and request DQs, when they deem it neccessary.
