How can I select and drag a bunch of circles?

I just re-snapped after fixing BPM, but obviously, one snapped to the wrong beat, and destroyed the chart. I need to get the note after that, drag them all, to the right, and place the wrong note on the beast and save the world.

Who can help me? I don't think anything in the FAQ explains stuff like this.

I know there's ctrl+a, but that's one by one, and if you click wrong you start over.

Drag a box around them on the timeline (at the top of the screen).

You can then move selected notes back one division by pressing J or forward one division by pressing K. The "division" is of course determined by whichever beat snap divisor you have selected.

Erm, new problem, I accidentally deleted a whole timing section, thinking it would fix the other error making the video show up really later no matter the delay. I then tried to undo it, with ctrl+z, but nothing happened. So I hit quit, and on accident... hit that I wanted to save.

Weird thing is, there apparently are no notes, but when choosing timing, they appear in the back.

Is there a way to go back a save file or more? Now I lost the BPM too and everything. ;_;

EDIT: Eh, probably for the better. Easy was broken and TOO easy anyways.

Did you try to re-time the song and see if things went back to normal? The only way to recover something is if you've deleted it (gets sent to the windows recycle bin). And yeah, undo doesn't work with timing sections, hitsounds, etc iirc.

Oh... that.... worked. Guess I will be making an easy then.

Now the only problem is the video not starting on time. When it does start, it's synced, but otherwise, no. I did not move anything in the design except offset (which was only necessary on easy... same with BPM oh well).

Thanks, by the way!

Glad to hear that that fixed it.

What do you mean that the video "doesn't start"? It'll buffer when scrolling around in editor, but it shouldn't mess up in play/test mode if it's syncing like you said. What's the video filetype?

The video works when I open a different difficulty, such as normal, but on easy, it starts late.

For now, it's an .flv, which even I ask myself why, but I will in the future, change it to something more universal and delete the sound in it and crap.

You need to set the video offset for each difficulty separately. Look under the [Events] section of each diff's .osu file in notepad to see how the Video,offset line looks.
