I don't really pay attention to what pronouns I use, but I'm pretty sure I usually stick to using neutral pronouns, sometimes I take the time out of my day to type "he/she", "his/her", "he" or "she", though. Sometimes it just makes a lot more sense to use gender-specific pronouns, in my opinion.
"Respect my pronouns" is a shit stupid idea made by 15 year olds on tumblr who want to feel special. No, I'm not going to respect your self-made pronouns and now I know what to think of you.
