Hi, I have a question. I've been playing osu for 3 years and just like when I first started, I clicked with the mouse, moved with the mouse, then I switched to keyboard and mouse and found out how much better it is. Is using a tablet better than using a mouse to follow the beats? I have a tablet that I tried out a couple times but it seems like I can't get use to it. Thank you for viewing = ) :?:

The only real advantage to having a tablet is you don't run out of room, with a mouse there is a possibility of running out of mouse space, however that's the only advantage, it all comes down to preference.

I have a tablet that I use for drawing, and I'm actually worse when I'm using it.
It probably just comes down to preference.

Pretty much this. You'll get better with a tablet much faster, but after a certain amount of time it starts to even out. Friction and mouse drift are the biggest obstacles to overcome.

I'm not very good yet, but I can tell you that the tablet is way better than the mouse for accuracy(for me, anyway) it's mostly preference. I've had a better time with the Tablet than I did with the mouse. I've improved faster with it. ^^

Yep.

Tablet has the objective advantage of absolute positioning meaning no drift.

Outside of that, it's all preference.

Tablet is easier to learn, but I find mouse easier to snap. The difference in difficulty is minimal. I personally found tablet easier, but that is just me.

the top 100 seem to suggest that tablet is the smarter choice for everyone who wants to be good at this game.
