Helloes~ as mentioned in subject^
Does reading the manga before the release of its anime/ next season spoil the fun and suspense too much?
Does it stop people from watching the anime because they 'Know what happned'? :?

Im just itching to know more about what happens next in the story....
Waiting on tokyo ghoul later season, no game no life, btooom!, attack on titan...bleah bleah bleah....

So, what do you all think? :)

i wouldn't think so. there were a few animes likes so i went back and read the manga to see how it differs. sometimes the differ quiet a lot. sometimes it's just small things. plus if you're going from manga > anime you then get the bonus of actually seeing action scenes and what not

I rarely ever watch anime for plot because I rarely ever found the anime being better than the source material at storytelling (unlike you are talking about execution of jokes and music). I rather read ahead, know what happens, and figure out what I should be looking forward to.

I see i see, manga> anime, mhmm, makes sense actually. I read all the english light novels of sword art online and found it much more amazing actually. No pics like in the manga so most of the action was just made up in my head (thank-you imagination). There was this scene in ggo of shinon sniping a person (I'll put this in a box cuz, it might be spoilers for others who have not watched sao2)

-SAO 2 spoiler content for people who havent seen it-
In the early parts of the final tournament match, shinon was depicted to be hiding near some bushes. About 200 (or was it 900?) meters away there was an opponent,
The novel explained clearly how shinon was thinking...how she was measurimg the distanve, how she would calculate the sniper bullet trajectory, how anxious she became when he started to move further away. Then she was shown to carefully target the opponent's explosives inventory and how incredibaly she sniped someome soo far.
While in the anime, it was all silent and then shinon just shot that guy like it was a cake walk...the scene lasted like..5 seconds and i started yelling at my screen xD
Sorry if i got some info wrong, i read it long ago. :x
^not sure if that was a spoiler anyways, but meh :p
I think i get how manga would compare to anime now tnx ^_^
But im more of a novel reader :3

Also, could you link me some good english translated manga sources? :D
And can we find english light novels to read/download online? O,o

Tnx~
(Ahahaha...i speak too much sorry lol xD)

Have fun spending weeks to years where nothing happens in the mangas you read.

I have never seen a Light Novel that didn't read like terrible fanfiction.

So true

It does spoil some fun since the plotline will be the same, but I like noticing small changes.
I guess it's up to personal opinion.

OMG it's almost as if mangas and animes are different

Mangas and animes go in the same direction of story at least. My guess for the difference in them both would be either-
A) Ive heard the anime industry usually makes them episodes at a very low budgets.
-----costs about 11mil yen per episode (or so ive heard).

B) They might be having issues in schedules and stuff, one week for one episode, thats a lotta fast work right there.
------They probably just keep the important stuff and change minor stuff (minor for them) to get their shabby work released in a week.(to satisfy us.)

Same time constraints exist for manga too. There are chapters I have seen that didn't get any shading because of deadlines.

Reading ahead with the manga does not spoil the fun and suspense. It IS the fun and suspense.

Depends on the person though. If by principle you don't like manga, try to abstain.
