Been playing osu! on my laptop in 1280x720 for the past month. I just got my desktop fixed and am now playing in 1080p, however even when the sensitivity slider stays the same, (1.39) it feels less sensitive. Playing in 720p fixes this but it looks like bleh on a 1080p 27 inch monitor.

Very simple math is how you scale your sens

That doesn't help op at all, the resolution vs sens is the issue...

Also, 1080p 27 inches? Horrible monitor. Max screen size for 1080p should be 24 inches. 27-32 inches is 1440p or 4k territory.

Had a 1080p 144hz 27 inch phillips, looked horrible for gaming however desktop applications where fine. Decided to downsize to a 24inch AOC 2460gpqu 144hz and now everything is crisp.

This tells you the range you are using with your dpi and osu resolution easily.

Cant do simple math now... Gotta get a program to tell you that you need a certain sens or can you figure out the pixel density then multiply it out.
