What animes should NOT receive a reboot, remake or sequel?

Threads exist for the opposite question but I think this one brings up more interesting discussion.

Considering how many remakes that have come up in the past few years as well as the increase in shows being slated for more seasons what shouldn't make another appearance? It is easy to say X anime is so bad it shouldn't be dug up, but I am more interested in what animes if remade etc. would be nothing less than sacrilege. It doesn't matter whether one has been announced or not.

I have a few but one that immediately comes to mind is Princess Tutu.
There has definitely been a push for animes to be increasingly short with splitting them up into 12 episode parts occurring more frequently and while Princess Tutu could probably be reduced to a 26 episode series I believe it would damage the experience of it. I'd also expect the series' thematic nature to be toned down as theme heavy anime are often overlooked by the vast majority; Kyousogiga, Uchouten Kazoku, Yurikuma Arashi even Mawaru Penguindrum for examples from the past few years. I'd also hate to see the dancing to be blanketed by cost saving CGI.

Nameless
Clannad (and ~After Story~) or any other anime that's good and has a solid ending. The third movie for Madoka Magica shows why you shouldn't give a sequel to an anime with a solid ending.

Basically anything that had a solid ending and is already good as it is.

To be fair, OP was being specific on what he wants but your response was not what he wanted. Now you're the one one who get mad when you shouldn't be... What is logic even.

To stay on topic, Angel Beats doesn't need one anymore. Just like Steins;Gate, it's already enough as it is. Angel Beats epilogue is really bland even though it is only two minutes long. Furthermore will only hurt the franchise. The visual novel is another story though.

"Not what he wanted" sounds like I responded because I disagree. People didn't read the first post or just ignored it.

Navizel what are your thoughts on Steins;Gate 0?

I cannot really say much since it's not yet released. I have no idea about the story of the light novel and there seems to be new characters. I'm not sure how will they pull it off but it feels like it's dragged.

To Love Ru.

Pussy protagonist, no story (some anime pull this off perfectly, but TLR does it in the shittiest way possible), and pointless lewd.
