Yeah, don't mind me, just blowing your minds.
But just think of it for a second. Wouldn't that be fucking awesome? I'd enjoy that shit far more than regular RTS DotA any day.

But for those who haven't been reading the news:

October 5, 2009 - Valve hires IceFrog, the developer behind the original DotA

August 9, 2010 John St. John (Duke Nukem Voice) tweets about recording for DotA, and then deletes his tweet right after

August 11, 2010 - Valve trademarks "DOTA"


I know that I'm just fantasizing when I say FPS DotA, but it would just be so awesome :(
I'm going to be really pissed if it's just a normal DotA remake, because the Valve I know isn't boring as fuck like that, making something that 3 other people are making too.

welll im not actually sure that its going to be a first person dota game.
but this is still a rumor. And i think it would be best if was easy to understand like League of Legends
and its more competitive like Heroes of Newerth

Yes, I read that too but this has nothing to do with the fridays announcement.

They might have to give up on the DOTA name, but doesn't mean they're not gonna announce/release the name just because the community doesn't want them to use the name dota, which btw I'm on the same side as the community.

It would be actually pretty lame if they named it Dota : and that would probably mean that it might be a straight dota ripoff, which would suck pretty fucking hard.

well we got exclusive portal2 coop preview and l4d/l4d2 dlc info, but no dota :(
