I just hate the low quality jpegs resized to full screen full of aliasing. 
If I change the background file to a high resolution one then osu resizes it badly.
I just gave the idea because it seems easy to do and bilinear resizes annoys me. The resize just needs to happen once on the beginning of the beatmap, I think? Any filter from bicubic resamping to low ringing lanczosor spline would do the job plz
Or maybe I just resample all songs backgrounds to my native resolution because noone cares anyway.
