Yea i wanted to add on that, The people who play the hard will probably not look at you other diffs, As a hard map having that extra will probably only make more sense and more fun.

00:53:202 Add a spinner here too and end it at 00:55:546 (1) - instead and remove 00:56:015 (2) -

  1. I suggest using CS 3 for Normal.
  2. OD 4 would be better.
  3. There's a lot more 1/4 notes than there should be for a Normal. Although that's just my opinion so you don't really need to change it. ><

  2. I think you should write "Star River" instead of "star river".

  1. Besides improving blanket (Why not use more curve slider for blanket? Seems more neat that way) and DS issues , nothing much to mention

Overall

  1. Sorry if I seem harsh, but that is the only way to improve someone's mapping. I suggest to redo some blankets and consult somebody for timing check, I'm slightly positive theres BPM change in the end and it might be difficult to time it. Good luck anyways~ :D

  3. Maybe with the BPM fixed up (sort of) you could fix the DS issues Chocox has pointed out. Of course, it might be slightly off.

Normal

  1. 00:09:609 (5) - Slider asymmetrical to this slider - 00:10:546 (6)
  2. 00:15:234 (1) - Do you feel as if the two anchor points have little to no effect on the slider shape? I do.
  3. 00:20:859 (1,2) - Are these two trying to be covered by this 00:21:327 (3) slider? If so the blanket is a little off and the slider isn't that bent/large enough to be a blanket for those two.
  4. I get that you are trying to blanket a note with this slider here 00:35:859 (6), but one of it's poor legs is being pulled to one side.

    TADA! Well, I copied pasted the first slider and edited it a little to fit with the note. Maybe you could do that too?
  5. 01:10:546 (3) - Second last point on this slider seems a tad too close to the last one, causing it to look a bit augmented to one side.
  6. 01:20:155 (2) - Shift to Y = 60, X= 260 for this lovely little note 01:18:515 (4) to stack onto the end of this slider, and also look symmetrical to the last one. It could look like this:
  7. Maybe after that, you could also stack the end of this slider 01:21:562 (3) on top of them.
  8. 01:33:984 (5,6) - These sliders could be stacked too; but I would prefer them separated just a tiny bit more.
  9. Same as easy, with the BPM changes kinda in place, the DS problems should be resolved.

LIGHT LUNATIC

  1. I understand that this is a light version of lunatic, but what drives me lunatic (geddit) is too small of a CS. I recommend CS 4, although the difficulty of the map itself doesn't really correspond to the name of the diff, even under CS 4.6
  2. The butt of this slider 00:03:515 (5) is weird; try copy pasting the same slider from this one here - 00:02:343 (2)
  3. 00:06:327 (3) - Try to center the red anchor point on this slider; looks more symmetrical on both sides.
  4. 00:11:952 (2) - & Rather than having 4 anchor points for one little curve slider, why not try and reduce it to 3 or 2? After all, it's the addition of the extra last point that makes this slider look lopsided. Maybe what you want is this?
  5. 00:13:359 (5) - Pull the red anchor out a little more; the straightness before leading into curvature of this slider is only barely showing.
  6. I'm pretty sure you would want the end of this lovely slider 00:18:046 (7) to stack with the end of this lovely slider 00:17:109 (5)
  7. Slider blanket? 00:18:749 (8,1)
  8. 00:21:093 (2,3,4) - Looks awkward to me. A isosceles or equilateral one would be just fine.

  1. I understand that this is a light version of lunatic, but what drives me lunatic (geddit) is too small of a CS. I recommend CS 4, although the difficulty of the map itself doesn't really correspond to the name of the diff, even under CS 4.6 I had named it "hard" before, but people were complaining about the stream part at 00:49:218 (2) - so I renamed it to this Smaller CS is intentional (easy and normal are also smaller than usual) and making CS any bigger will cause overlap (maybe change to CS 4.4-4.5?)
  2. The butt of this slider 00:03:515 (5) is weird; try copy pasting the same slider from this one here - 00:02:343 (2) fixed
  3. 00:06:327 (3) - Try to center the red anchor point on this slider; looks more symmetrical on both sides. Intentional. I fixed it so it looks better though
  4. 00:11:952 (2) - & Rather than having 4 anchor points for one little curve slider, why not try and reduce it to 3 or 2? After all, it's the addition of the extra last point that makes this slider look lopsided. Maybe what you want is this? Trying to blanket around 00:12:890 (4) - I fixed the shape
  5. 00:13:359 (5) - Pull the red anchor out a little more; the straightness before leading into curvature of this slider is only barely showing. I think it's ok

  1. AR3 was a bit fast considering the really slow pace of this map. AR2 is enough.
  2. 01:39:410 (1) - Ending this at 01:42:334 is enough. There is no musical objects after that, so ending with the piano will fit the song better. Same applies for all other difficulties.

  1. 00:32:098 (3,4) - (1,2) was a big jump, while (3,4) being an anti-jump. The different usage of patterns lacked in consistency while sliders are the same. Rather ctrl+G of (4) will make this more organized.
  2. 00:45:926 (4,5,6,7) - Personally this placement wasn't neat enough. A stack between (4,5) would've been more effective than an anti-jump if you ask me.
  3. 01:34:800 (2,1,3,1) - Timing is weird. Starting from 01:34:735 , 01:35:816 , 01:37:802 , 01:39:338 respectively would suit better imo. Having an extra timing check from the QAT will be safer.

In my personal though, "Starboard" difficulty felt like an Insane difficulty. What I mean is that the gap between Normal - Starboard was high. You'll need an extra "Hard" difficulty which is harder than the current Normal to make your mapset in a better stance or find a BN who is fine enough with this setting.

  1. Consider to add some numbers on audio lead in among the mapset. This is because the song starts to early and if the players aren't aware of that, they will miss the first notes. Mostly because of the beginner players. /u\ You can do this by opening the osu. file and look for "audio leadin" and write it there 2000 and that's it.
  2. Consider add these info into tags since I found it in the other ranked versions:
    1. I might say the correct source from this beatmap as long it is taken from that.
    That's all lol.
  3. Don't you think the map would look better if you check the widescreen support option?
  4. I'm pretty sure you're not using this hitsound of the folder: soft-sliderend.wav, so please, consider removing it. ;w;

[ Easy]Well I think the most important thing on this diff. the mini hgh jump of HP drain from the Normal to the Hard is almost 2 numbers, despite knowing you set the HP drain of the Easy and the Normal on 2 and 3. I think it would make sense if you followed the 1 by 1 number for the hp drain. It means adding +1 in the Hp drain of the Easy and the Normal.
  1. 00:07:254 (5) The way you set this beat would make more sense if you make it as a strong beat like a circle. Big white ticks are mostly slider's head or circles where the player can click and do not get confuse by clicking random stuffs.
  2. 00:18:973 (1) Just a minor detail with this slider that could look better if you put the second slider's point at the slider tick like this.
  3. 00:49:910 (2,3) The distance between these objects doesn't look bad, but it would look better if you keep the 1.0x distance snapping as well as you did here 00:50:848 (3,4)
  4. 00:51:785 (5) The sound of the clap here doesn't fit properly. The song here is very passive and it looks like you're overloading this slider's end with the hitsounds.

[ Normal]Well this normal is pretty well done. The patterns are readable and flows are intuitive. Good job! But I have somethings that could improve the mapset. For example, those SV changes 00:33:973 - 00:37:723 - etc, they're not really suitable for normal diffs. I see no reason for making a 1.0x SV change since the song is calmed. It would make more sense if you keep the same 1.0x SV among this section since this is not kiai time.
  1. 00:15:223 (1) This slider's reverse doesn't fit properly with the song. the rhythm would flow better with a 1/1 slider or two notes here 00:15:223 and here 00:15:691. Try out this.
  2. 00:16:160 (3,5) Just a minor suggestion but this pattern would flow better if you improved the blanket. It would make stuffs more tidy and clutter then.
  3. 00:17:098 (5,7,1) The overlap here is really noticeable and doesn't play good. It would be better if you try out to don't overlap these objects since it looks untidy for players. What about this flow?
  4. 00:20:848 (1) The way you split up the NC combing here doesn't make sense according the NC pattern you keep on the diff. It would look better if you remove the NC to don't confuse players with this pattern.
  5. 00:24:129 (3) This 1/1 slider looks good, but it's placing a downbeat 00:24:598 where it should be a strong beat. The main argument is that you even set a whistle/clap sound to emphasize it. Nonetheless, the song really suggests that tick is a clickeable note. It would make more sense if you add a circle or a 1/2 slider here 00:24:598 to fix to make a proper emphasis. Try this rhythm.
  6. 00:32:098 (3,4) This isn't a really big issue, just a personal suggestion, but they would look symmetric if you made them the same slider shape as these ones 00:30:223 (1,2)
  7. 00:37:957 (2,3) Just a visual pattern, but the blanket among these objects could be improved a bit. Like this. What I did here was pressing Ctrl + G the slider (2) to fix the blanket with the slider (3). It's a good tip for making blanket. o-o/
  8. 00:49:910 (2,1) The overlap here is really noticeable and doesn't look good. Try out to not overlap objects in normal diff since looks untidy.
  9. 00:38:426 (3,4) Fix the DS between these objects. The (4) is really far form the (3) and make a mini jump here that doesn't suit here. It would flow better if you keep DS consistency as you do in all the mapset.
  10. 00:59:519 (3,4) Same applies here. The 1.42x a bit off despite knowing the DS should be on 1.3x as well as you do on the other objects.
  11. 00:56:004 (4,2) Just passing by here and you can improve the visual pattern by moving the 00:56:004 (4) a bit to the right.
  12. 00:57:644 (4,2) The overlap here is also uncluttered. What about stacking this circle 00:59:285 (2) under this slider's reverse 00:57:644 (4) ?
  13. 01:01:160 (6) The flow of this slider's end would make more sense if it followed the following point of the next slider. What about doing Ctrl + J on that slider to fix the flow? For example.
  14. 01:03:973 (1) The way you split up the pattern would look better if you haven't done it. The current NC combing you manage is reasonable among the previous pattern 00:58:816 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) , so it would make more sense if you keep it and remove the NC here.
  15. 01:04:207 (2) The current flow is a bit forced because the slider's end suggest that the next note will be next to it and you place the note at the bottom. it would be more readable if you pursue the following point to improve the low. Like this.
  16. 01:19:910 If you were following the vocals, I highly suggest to add a note here since it fits with the song.
  17. 01:21:316 Same here, this beat can't be avoided since it play good with the vocals.

[ Starboard] This diff is DT'able. <3 Well, the first thing that I'd like to know is why you made this diff so hard. Despite the star rating show this diff fits to be a hard diff, the gap between the normal and the hard is very big. The main reason is that you include too many 1/4 notes in this calmed song that should be replaces by triplets or 1/4 slider to make stuffs easier. This is just a general advice. A 2.60 stars ~ 2.80 stars had fit here. </3
  1. 00:05:848 (1,2) This is just a personal suggestion but the overlap looks pretty weird here since there are two circles.
  2. 00:06:316 (3) This slider shape would be more playable if it were smoother to make a curvy flow here. The current is a bit monotonous. What about this?

  1. 00:32:098 (3,4) - (1,2) was a big jump, while (3,4) being an anti-jump. The different usage of patterns lacked in consistency while sliders are the same. Rather ctrl+G of (4) will make this more organized. Did something else instead
  2. 00:45:926 (4,5,6,7) - Personally this placement wasn't neat enough. A stack between (4,5) would've been more effective than an anti-jump if you ask me. fixed

In my personal though, "Starboard" difficulty felt like an Insane difficulty. What I mean is that the gap between Normal - Starboard was high. You'll need an extra "Hard" difficulty which is harder than the current Normal to make your mapset in a better stance or find a BN who is fine enough with this setting. I was having a lot of troubles making a good hard diff before, so maybe I'll make "starboard" easier instead

[ General]Well in the general stuffs of this map we have:
  1. Consider to add some numbers on audio lead in among the mapset. This is because the song starts to early and if the players aren't aware of that, they will miss the first notes. Mostly because of the beginner players. /u\ You can do this by opening the osu. file and look for "audio leadin" and write it there 2000 and that's it. I'll change this later

I think it would make sense if you followed the 1 by 1 number for the hp drain. It means adding +1 in the Hp drain of the Easy and the Normal. Increasing hp drain on easy and normal makes it too difficult for beginner players to pass imo
  1. 00:07:254 (5) The way you set this beat would make more sense if you make it as a strong beat like a circle. Big white ticks are mostly slider's head or circles where the player can click and do not get confuse by clicking random stuffs. I think it works here since vocals start on beat 2
  2. 00:18:973 (1) Just a minor detail with this slider that could look better if you put the second slider's point at the slider tick like this. Doesn't matter anymore with current 3-point slider algorithm

For example, those SV changes 00:33:973 - 00:37:723 - etc, they're not really suitable for normal diffs. I see no reason for making a 1.0x SV change since the song is calmed. It would make more sense if you keep the same 1.0x SV among this section since this is not kiai time. There are still changes in song intensity between sections, but let me think about this.
  1. 00:15:223 (1) This slider's reverse doesn't fit properly with the song. the rhythm would flow better with a 1/1 slider or two notes here 00:15:223 and here 00:15:691. Try out this. keep for now

Nonetheless, the song really suggests that tick is a clickeable note. It would make more sense if you add a circle or a 1/2 slider here 00:24:598 to fix to make a proper emphasis. Try this rhythm. Yeah, I'm violating some mapping basics here, but I think it works because of the symmetry :p Maybe I'll change later

Despite the star rating show this diff fits to be a hard diff, the gap between the normal and the hard is very big. The main reason is that you include too many 1/4 notes in this calmed song that should be replaces by triplets or 1/4 slider to make stuffs easier. This is just a general advice. A 2.60 stars ~ 2.80 stars had fit here. </3 We'll see. I'll either try to tone this done or make an actual hard diff
