I think it would be nice to have a feature that keeps track of a selected rival of your choice's scores. Not just any scores, but specifically, the songs that both you and your rival have played. For example, if I play a song, and my rival beats me in said song, I would like to be notified of my now beaten score.
Having a rival has driven me to play a lot more competitively in this game and I think it's nice to have someone that is close to your own skill level to play with.

I don't really know about the whole getting notified thing, but this is a good start for top50 scores if you want to compare with your 'rival'

Can this be done using the "Friends Ranking" leader board then? I ask this because how is this supposed to help me and the 90% of other players that aren't even skilled enough to make it into the global leader board for a song.
