I'm a novice (just saying)
Is it normal to find some patterns awkward for your hands like the Simple brackets (in draces guide) and some different variations of it because with those patterns i pretty much have to force my hands to hit those notes. Should i force my hands to do that and any maps that will help with that.
EDIT: forget about the hand thingy i will adjust to it over time

You're gonna find some map gimmicks harder than others from the get go. I for one get on well with stream-y maps (lots of notes in fast pattern), however I still struggle with maps with lots of jacks in them (jacks = jackhammer, a set of recurring notes hit with one key over and over). To adjust your hands to different patterns, simply play a wide variety of maps by a lot of different beatmappers.

The best solution for improving at awkward patterns is to ensure you play them regularly. Playing with random can also help you get better at awkward patterns. Just try to play them when they come up and don't get discouraged if you just can't seem to get it right. Eventually the pattern will feel more natural.

After trying out RD i did find it was more difficult on most maps and that my weakness are complex or long stairs. But hey, the more patterns the better.

Couldn't agree more. Don't be afraid to fail when you're just starting out, by the time you improve, scores you achieve on maps you played ages ago won't matter :)
