Simply sort the bitmaps list of this site by categories (like anime, modern,...).

Tags are an idea being passed around right now; genre sorting is something I've always wanted as well, and tags might be a means of doing this.
Problem with tags/genre is that some songs may belong to multiple genres. Also who will decide what genre a song belongs to?
Don't forget that one of the main problems with the first generation of ID3 tags was because the list of genres was fixed.

The nice thing about tags is that a beatmap could have multiple tags.
