How to remove certain parts of a skin?

Hi everyone i just downloaded my first skin and while I like most of it I dont like the cursor and the replacement of the difficulty stars. How do i remove them and get back the default ones while keeping the rest of the skin?

Go into your skin's folder, and delete the offending elements, and they'll revert to default.

In this case, the offending pictures would be cursor.png and star.png
