Playing Beathazard earlier on Survival Mode I was thinking. "Wouldn't this be super awesome in Osu?"
Basically the game plays the same as osu except you keep playing when you a finish a song, it just goes down in the list.
There would be a scoreboard of the top 40 of course, their time, their score, their rank, etc etc you could watch their replays as you do in normal osu except at the end of each song there is a check to see if you HAVE the song, and if not an option to download it and then carry on from there.
There would be two Survival Modes.
Endless survival mode in which you play through songs endlessly until you die.
And Survival Beatmap Pack mode. As a way to promote the downloading of beatmap packs, there could be a scoreboard for each beatmap pack, let's take the La Roux beatmap pack for example. It would have it's own scoreboard seperate from the rest, the top 40 would be displayed here, it would start on http://osu.ppy.sh/s/8627 (In for the Kill) and end on http://osu.ppy.sh/s/12288 (Saviour)
Essentially it would get more people downloading beatmap packs instead of individual songs putting less load on the Osu servers (That's the idea anyway)
I may have repeated the same thing more than once possibly because I'm retarded but I hope you get the general idea.
