[Archived] osu! has stopped working

Problem Details:

straight to the point, as soon as i click the osu! installer download button and the download process were done,there should be a window shows up
telling that osu! are installing on my pc.
instead showing that window, "osu! has stopped working" window's were shown up.
i try every method from the forums and none worked so far.
please help me. :(

During the installation make sure to disable any antivirus or firewall, if you have one, then try again.

Also, try downloading the old installer version instead of the normal one and see if something changes.

I already disabled the antivirus,and try all the things that you told me and none of them worked.
are there any solutions for this problem?
I couldn't figure out whats wrong with my computer :(

If you grab the 'new' installer from here, then rename the file from osu!install.exe to osu!.exe, place it in a folder, and then run it, does the same thing happen?
