Best GFX/ART software?

Ive been looking for a long time for a software to use to edit.
i wanna know what other people use for a better understanding so i dont buy the wrong one. :D

I suppose Photoshop is what most GFX artist use o/ SAI for drawing anime/manga (it's free tho?)
but i think if you're a beginner you shouldn't rush into buying a software? you can try using gimp atm (it's free too)

Photoshop is the best in my opinion, its not free though but you can find a pirated version
I used to use Paint.NET before I had Photoshop, its good too and it is free. You can download it here. c:
