Not exactly a conversation many of us have, though I know we all have our favorites. What are your favorite maps or maps you consider extremely skillfully made? Maybe it's a map you admire and wish to yourself "damn, I wish I came up with that" or a map that you simply find very fun.
I have a top 5 made, you can use my format or not, either way is fine.
#1. Goreshit - young loli types by Kagami Yuki
I have no idea what draws me to this map, but I knew the moment I played it almost a year ago now, this is a map I would be connected with. Of course, other than the title or whatever, the map is very well made and has an almost hypnotic rhythm to it, with really fun patterns. It's not incredibly challenging, but its very fun. The song is really nice too

#2. DJ Technorch - black miko miko meets gabba (Inner Oni) by Nyan
This is such an old map but it really kind of transcends its age, this was one of the maps that kind of inspired me when I was a just a player to become better, and also to map things as skillfully and fun as this.
#3. HIT AND RUN IN 1920 A.D by kazukisinx/-Anhedonia-
Of course, kazu is my favorite mapper, it is normal to include his greatest map, or at least my favorite. It's too bad he hasn't had any more ranked maps than this one, because this is one of the most unique ranked maps ever, very skillfully mapped.
#4. Little Batty Foo by -Kriston-
This is more of a new one for me, as i've discovered it in recent months, most of my all-time favorites are a little older than this, but this is the map where I am convinced the taiko community is headed into a good direction for mapping. Mapped hard enough but also fun enough to be enjoyed by a lot of players of different skill levels, this is a very fun map.
#5. Twitch Plays Pokemon (deleted) by _Gezo_
This was one of my favorite maps, it is a fun song with fun patterns and a relatively comfortable bpm for me, I always thought it's criminal that it has never been ranked. I love this map
