Hi,

i am trying to map "Shine on you crazy diamond" by Pink Floyd, an old, long and slow song which has no consistent BPM.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mZDMcn33F4Q

In the beginning there's no rythm at all and in the later parts it is around 65-67 BPM or 130-134 in double time.

My question is since there is no way to get the BPM spot on, i need to adjust the BPM multiple times through out the song so that it doesn't desync too much...
Is that acceptable? Is the song impossible to map?

Sorry for my gibberish English, it's not my first language.

Frequent chances to the BPM are more than acceptable, just look at maps like Roze:

In the future, best if you ask questions relating to beatmapping here: 56

timing aside, you've decided to map one of the most impossible songs to map that i know. no matter how much i love pink floyd, you should really try a different song.

i cant imagine that map being very interesting anyway.

3/4 of the song is an intro.
