Timing is good for me. I passed the song first playthrough with it.

My only complaint is the beat spacing of the map.
It is acceptable though, but I think you should learn how to use beatspacing correctly while you are in the early stages of beatmapping. If you won't learn it now, you won't learn it forever! HAHAHAH j/k

Well I don't have pretty much to say but I'll point out 2 things for you to figure it out.
1. Distance snapping.
2. Common sense. Why common sense? Try looking at the distance of the beats on the timeline and the distance of those circles on the play area.

I'll give you some points where spacing is not really good (but acceptable due to me not being strict anymore haha)
00:20:26 - This should be placed farther since there is a huge gap on the timeline (those stuffs on above of the editor, NOT the title and menubar!)
00:23:15 - This is acceptable since it starts on a new combo, just don't use it too much.
00:24:24 - This should have a equidistant spacing throughout the combo. Using Distance snapping will be alot easier while making beatmaps.
00:34:00 - This should be placed closer, equidistant stuff related thing blablabla shytz...

Well I think that would be all, you can find lots of notes like those I mentioned above and its up to you to find it out.

Wow I sound like a teacher there... :(

EDIT: Make a new difficulty too! I prefer easier since you just started making beatmaps...

Hi and thanks for the reply. I have one question for you. I have been trying to use the distance snap feature, but most of the time the circle i'm trying to put is restricted from the grid completely and goes off far into the menu. It got quite annoying so I tried making my own distances by eye. I'm just having a lot of trouble using this feature, would you have some guidlines to help me out?
James
Ahh thats easy, when you press alt in editor (if distance snap button is off) you see in the upper right of the screen "Distance Spacing" and theres a number/value on the right side of it (0.1x to 2.0x)

Those numbersvalues have a specific range on how far the next note is.
Lemme give you an illustration:

Using 1.0x distance snap

And using 2.0x

As for your question:
It is restricted maybe because MAYBE you are using huge distance spacing value.
Try reducing the values to 1.0x or 0.7x.. Those are the ones I usually use when making a beatmap.

I'm not 100% sure about these stuffs.
  • -The higher the bpm, the farther the spacing of the beat. The distance between beats are farther using 1.0x distance spacing on a 500bpm map is farther than using a 1.0x distance spacing on a 100bpm map.

-The higher the slider velocity of the beatmap, the farther spacing of the beat. The distance between beats are farther using 1.0x distance spacing on a 2.6 slider velocity map is farther than using a 1.0x distance spacing on a 1.5 slider velocity map.
I hope I helped you on this one.

AND I REALLY sound like a teacher now... :(
