I pm'd the guestmappers about Jul 10th being the deadline for the songs they wanted to map but since i suck at expressing myself there may have been some misunderstandings:
JUL 10TH IS NOT THE DEADLINE FOR THE PROJECT ITSELF
It just means that from that day on I will continue mapping myself and add the guestmapped parts.
The rule about my own mapped part being placeholders still applies.
The marathon's been stuck at 9 minutes for about 3 months now so I just wanted to make it longer, bit by bit..
Sorry if I confused some of you!
ALSO: I will upload the guest maps as separate difficulties of the marathon (Title: Mapper's name). This makes playtesting/modding etc etc easier.

Since the whole thing is still a WIP, at least right now, there is no limit.
It's still not sure which maps will be part of the finished project and which ones won't be taken. The idea is that everyone gets a chance to try.
But that also means that, if someone else wants to map a song that has been taken by one of those guys who want to map loads of songs (loads being more than four), it is only fair that they drop one of their many maps. In that case I recommend contacting the person whose parts you want to do.
Since I'm pretty sure what I just said doesn't make sense in some way or another here's the simple version:
Person A maps 5 or more songs.
Person B has 0 to 3 songs.
Person B really wants to map one of the songs Person A wants to map.
Person A contacts Person B and asks him if he can take one song.
1. If Person A refuses, Person B can contact the project leader (jasdfhg) and we can discuss what we can do.
