if you want to know if there are replies and stuff, why no just bookmark/subscribe to the thread :/

That's why I said it's far more practical. Having it right there without additional subscribing, bookmarking, or notification by email.deadbeat wrote:

Example of it done on another forum I use on the "participated threads" page without subscribing.
