Hello ! Quick 7K mod because I feel like it. Yeah really, I modded by own will ._.
@neonat :
don't kudo this yet You can kudo this now.
[Mania 7K Collab]
Good map overall, there are some parts which could use a bit rework but it's not anything huge. I'm going to do some suggestions based on the feeling I got from playing this map. So far it doesn't have any major issues so my suggestions will mostly be for making the map more "lively", by strongly using SVs. As it is currently, the flow is okay, but lacks a... uh... I don't know, an "anchor" to keep the player focused. They will not make the map harder, but by occasionally changing the scrolling speed without breaking the gameplay, you can keep the attention of the player instead of just breezing through the map (let's face it, the song has a LOT of repetitive parts, and breaking that repetitiveness (???) would make it better. I'm not saying that I don't like the song, ha !) Also, Pitch Relevancy please D:
Overall you have really weird SVs going on and transitioning without purpose. You should stick to 1x speed everywhere unless there is a need to apply SVs. If you are going to apply my SVs suggstions, I highly suggest you use 1x SV throughout the whole map unless necessary.
Oh, since I like this map, I can show you how the map would look with my suggestions if you want (I'll apply all my suggestions and give you the .osu file so you can see for yourself what to keep, and what to leave).
Edit : You can find your diff with my mod applied
here. Use the reference feature to see what I've changed compared to your current diff !

00:19:532 - to 00:20:161 - How about adding 1x-looking SVs here ? It would emphasize the glitchy sounds while not deteriorating the gameplay.
Try copying/pasting this code in the F6 window where there are the timing points and see how it looks to you.19689,-52.6315789473684,4,2,1,70,0,0
19768,-1000,4,2,1,70,0,0

20082,-1000,4,2,1,70,0,0
20161,-100,4,2,1,70,0,0
00:20:789 - to 00:21:417 - In the same vein as above, except using 1,5x and 0,5x SVs instead of 1,9x and 0,1x like I did, because you can hear the "wub" sounds along with the music still playing (as opposed to previously because it was 100% glitchy sounds, hence more brutal SVs)
00:23:302 - to 00:23:930 - Same as above
00:23:930 (23930|5) - You might want to move this to 5 to keep it consistent with the similar parts (5 notes in the same column in a row)
00:25:815 - to 00:26:443 - Same as above with the SV and stuff
00:28:328 - to 00:28:956 - And the same as above again
Ok this suggestion goes for the following ones as well, too lazy to copy paste every timestamp, but if you apply those SVs, make sure to tone them down gradually (using 1,4 and 0,6, then 1,3 and 0,7, then 1,2 and 0,8, etc... since the glitchy sounds become lighter over time)
00:38:066 - The 1/4 stream should start here, also remove 00:38:223 (38223|4) - and cut 00:37:909 (37909|0) - down to 00:38:066 -
00:39:559 (39559|2) - move down to 00:39:480 - the red line, I don't feel like the sound on the blue line (as it is currently) is worth having a note for. The clear beats feel more important to me here.
And maybe add 1x looking SVs here because they look cool I assure you ;-;00:44:977 -
1x looking SVs ? Teehehehe c:00:45:292 (45292|2,45292|4,45292|0) - Move the three of them one column to the right, you can rearrange your following chords after that (i.e.: 00:45:606 (45606|3,45606|1,45920|2,45920|0) - 1 column to the right, 00:46:234 (46234|1,46234|3,46548|4,46548|2,46862|5,46862|3,47176|4,47176|6) - 1 row to the left, etc... You get it.)
00:49:454 (49454|1,49454|5) - I see why you did it like so, but for beat clarity I suggest the LNs start here 00:49:532 - .
00:50:004 - to 00:50:318 - You can add 1/4s there
00:55:187 (55187|3) - Move that one to 6, maybe
From 00:55:344 - to 00:59:114 - You can add 1x looking (YES I LOVE THOSE SO WHAT ;-; ) using 0,7x
then 1,3x SVs in the parts between each LNs (on each white line if you prefer)
Either that or you can just slightly speed this part on each white line (an increase of 0,05 on each white line sounds good to me).
00:59:114 - to 01:00:370 - If you do the previous suggestion, you can make this part like
this with a slowdown (probably around 0,8x or 0,7x looks good when I tried). This is because you can feel the tension building up in the previous part, and suddenly that tension is dropped and the music goes normal again after this abrupt transition.
01:10:422 (70422|0,70422|3,70422|5,70422|6,70422|1) - This does not warrant a 5 notes chord to me, try removing the note on 4.
01:10:894 (70894|3,71051|1,71051|5,71208|4,71365|0,71365|3,71365|6,71522|2,71679|1,71679|4) - Where did the LNs go in this part ?
01:13:407 (73407|3,73564|1,73564|6,73721|5,73878|0,73878|2,73878|4,74035|3,74192|2,74192|5) - Same as above, I don't understand why they disappear.
01:18:668 (78668|4) - Move to 7
01:18:747 (78747|5) - Move to 5
01:20:161 (80161|3,80318|3) -
Light 1x looking SV ? 01:20:475 - to 01:30:527 - SV 0,7x
Add a 3rd note on those to emphasize the louder sound/chord : 01:21:731 - 01:22:988 - 01:23:616 - 01:24:244 - 01:25:501 - 01:26:757 - 01:27:386 - 01:28:014 - 01:28:642 - 01:29:271 -
From 01:30:527 - to 01:41:836 - Back to SV 1x, apply the same principle as previously (3 notes chords on stronger sounds, there are more of them in this part).
01:32:412 - Remove a note here, I know why there are 3 notes but it doesn't warrant a 3rd note for me.
01:41:836 - to 01:43:093 - Try 1,1x because the way you mapped this (2 notes 1/2 hammer) make it feel uuuuh... I really don't know how to describe it but it adds some more tension to those easy hammers without greatly increasing the difficulty.
02:18:276 - to 02:20:789 - Absolutely in love with this. However...
02:20:789 - to 02:21:731 - Those simple double stairs break the feeling ;-; Try constructing the pattern like you did just before, it plays really good !
02:22:045 - to 02:23:302 - Remove unnecessary notes, I'd say keep the main melody without any chords before the music starts normally again at 02:23:302 - .
02:24:873 - to 02:25:815 - The LNs disappear again ! 02:27:072 - to 02:27:700 - Same !
Etc, the same happens a bit later in the music...
02:28:328 (148328|5) - Move to 7
02:33:119 (153119|5,153119|1) - Remove
02:33:197 (153197|4,153197|2) - Move to 1 and 7 respectively.
02:33:276 (153276|4,153276|2) - Move to 3 and 5 respectively.
02:38:381 (158381|6) - To 6
02:40:894 - Add a note to emphasize the cymbol sound.
02:41:522 - ^
02:52:517 (172517|6,172595|4,172674|6,172752|4) - Remove, this should be 1/6, not 1/4. Make a pattern using normal notes in 1/6.
02:53:145 (173145|5,173302|4) - Move one column to the right
02:53:459 (173459|6) - Move to 5
03:02:726 (182726|2) - Move to 2 and 03:02:883 (182883|3) - move to 5, it's more comfortable.
03:03:511 (183511|6,183511|1,183511|3,183590|4,183590|2,183668|3,183668|5,183747|6,183747|4) - ??? Why 1/4 ?
03:02:255 - to 03:06:025 - Consider doing a progressive speed up using increases of 0,05 on the white lines, it will make it more interesting. The speed up should stop at 03:04:768 -.
03:04:768 - to 03:06:025 - If you apply the previous suggestion, keep this part simple. Remove the LNs and make an easy 1/2 pattern.
03:06:025 - to 03:26:129 - Make this even slower. Somewhere near 0,75x sounds good.
03:44:663 (224663|4,224663|2,224742|5,224742|1,224820|2,224820|4,224899|1,224899|5) - Replace this with 1/8s ? If you do that, nerf that chord 03:44:977 (224977|0,224977|4,224977|6,224977|2,224977|3) -
03:51:260 (231260|6) - Move to 6.
03:56:051 (236051|4) - No sound here. Remove it.
03:56:129 (236129|3) - Move to 5.
04:01:312 (241312|0) - Move to 2.
04:06:025 (246025|0) - Move to 3 and 04:06:025 (246025|1) - to 5.
04:06:103 (246103|6,246103|5) - Remove
04:16:155 (256155|5) - Remove
04:26:286 - Add a note on 6
04:26:365 - Add note on 5
04:26:443 (266443|4) - Move to 4
04:26:600 (266600|3) - Move to 5
04:56:600 (296600|3) - Move to 2 or 3.
05:05:082 (305082|5,305082|6,305082|3,305161|2,305161|0,305239|6,305239|4,305318|1,305318|3) - Try replacing with 1/8s.
05:02:883 - to 05:04:140 - Same kind of speed up I suggested earlier. ^^
If you do that, 05:04:140 - to 05:06:339 - Keep this part simple, back with 1x SV.
05:25:579 (325579|2,325658|4,325737|2,325894|1,325972|5,326051|1) - It feels weird to hit those hollow notes... I suggested removing them and make a progressive slowdown on the chords.
05:25:501 (325501|6) - Move to 4
05:41:836 - to 05:44:349 - Speed up ?
05:44:349 - Try
this.
05:45:527 - to 05:46:548 - SV 0,2x or 0,1x... yup.
05:46:548 - to 05:46:862 - 1x looking SV.
And that's it ! Took actually longer than expected, and this is all very personal suggestions I really wanted to share with you xD. I'll give you the .osu file with my suggestions in a bit. Thanks for going through them and good luck getting this ranked, it's fun and good looking hehe.
