[Archived] Update loop, and bad touch input handling

Problem Details:
Osu is repeatedly downloadig osu!ui.dll and prompting me to restart osu to go to the latest version. ButI'm already on the latest verson, as of now.

Also in this version osu seems to be only registering the initial contact with the touch screen, but not the subsequent "drag" motion on the touch screen. This causes the slider to be un-complete-able.

And touch-scrolling never worked, even in earlier versions. It is impossible to scroll through the map list with touch screen gestures. One of the map will always accidentally open by itself because osu though my drag is a click.

If you're playing with a touch screen, There's an option to enable TabletPC functionalities in the options menu.
For your dll problem, I think this might be the only time where it's relevant to reinstall. (Don't take my word for it, I may be completely wrong.)

Thanks, forgot to mention I enabled TabletPC functionalities.
For reinstall...well, that's an option. But I'm not feeling like to do that now XD

For reinstall...well, that's an option. But I'm not feeling like to do that now XD
Hmm... Mind posting what system you're using?
Are you using a pen on the touch screen? (Kind of like a cintiq tablet.)

I'm using the touch screen on an acer aspire r7. Directly touching with fingers. The slider with touchscreen was working in some previous versions.

It'd be something in your settings that would have changed then.
Try things like raw input etc. Just do a trial and error.
