Remove the difficulty limit for the easiest difficulty in ma

Now I've seen tons of reasons why easy difficulties should exist : yes, it is very true that easy difficulties are needed. However the reality is....


If you noticed that i sorted maps by difficulty...
The scrollbar is already placed on in the middle of whole scrollbar (which states that about half of the whole beatmap is rated 2.27 or lower).



Now it shows that prety much most of the maps are rated 3.75 or below.

There are almost hand-countable amount of maps above 4.74 stars.


Not to mention that I do have almost every single ranked/approved maps thanks to the torrent package with 60G+ size.


The whole point of maps having easy diffs is mainly because of the beginners.
Now please be realistic, nobody actually spends long time passing/FCing ☆2.25 map and about half of the whole beatmap is 2.25☆ or below.

Amount beatmaps with 2.25☆ or below already looks much more than enough when most of osu! standard players (yes, including the 6-digit ranked players) play beatmaps with ☆3.0 or above.

Yes I am being sarcasm but it's much realistic to force maps to have difficulty with ☆4.0 or above....

Why do you still force maps to have difficulty with 2.25☆ or below?

I don't have this issue, and I don't delete difficulties.



You shouldn't have downloaded the beatmap packs if you didnt want a LOT of easy stuff.

You just don't get the point, I'm saying that the rule forcing that the mapset should have difficulty with 2.25☆ or below does not make sense when nobody(ok, beginners that will eventually become better in like a month or even faster) and half of the beatmaps are already 2.5star and below.


Just in case you still think there are not enough 2 star or below maps

It comes down to downloading the packs consisting almost entirely of old maps which by and large were of course easier in terms of star difficulty. We're talking a LOT of full spreads of maps that wouldnt even qualify as Hards in ppv2 both because of the mapping style which was used for the first handful of years.

even the best of the best players like Saturos were barely pushing scores that would be like 70-100PP now, admittedly due in part to the mapping style which is heavily unfavored by ppv2 but also because people just weren't as good, especially when you go far below that to the average player of the time. The average player didn't go fast so people didn't map fast, therefore low stars.

There's little sense in throttling difficulties now to try to even out a number of easy maps set in a completely different time period. Most modern spreads have respectable difficulty aside from the obligatory easy/normals and sometimes just normals included, and the newer spreads that are all easy difficulties are pretty much offset by the number of standalone heavy insane/extra difficulties that get ranked which is becoming more common.

The most popular maps on osu! (MBC maps/Attack on Titan) actually has Easy/Normal as the most played.

You do realize this is how it should be right?
Avg 4 diffs~ ENHI, so half of them should be under 2.25.

I scroll down 1/4 of the map and I'm at 1.75. 1/2 for me is 2.6. 3/4 is 3.6 - This is in Ranked Status maps

This all seems pretty accurate to me. If anything, it's the other way around lol.

also its a lot harder to map harder things well so they are less commonly done
thats why mods exist, to increase difficulty
