Random Map - remove spin option?

Is there some option that I can use to disable the "spin" effect on "Random map"/F2? At the moment it will do a really neato ticker effect, which I don't really like. I would prefer an option to make it instantly chose a new map.

I understand I can hit enter/F2 again to stop it, but then it's not fully random; I "chose" the map.

It isn't really a problem or anything, I am just weird like that... it would be a cool feature if not too hard to do though :)

Yeah, but then my OCD still kicks in :

As I said, don't really care that much, but it'd be cool to have.

Pressing it twice should still have the same effect as waiting for the whole thing as far as I remember.

Nope, it looks like it just stops at the random spot where the spin begins.

oh. This is a bump. I know peppy hates toggles, but this should be implemented once he finds a way to prevent the crowding of the settings menu. I also hate this behavior sometimes but it also helps at time when I want to somehow randomly choose a song from an artist I want.

Just press F2 twice. Problem solved
It starts at a random place when spin is starting.

What do you mean Artist?
Add them to Favorites A/B and press F2

sort according to artist. Hit f2. Hit f2 again so it stops at a certain artist. Something like that.
But meh. I'm cool with how it behaves right now.
