I was playing the Normal/Cruisin' beatmap for Re:Re: and upon finishing the song it crashed with the typical Windows error. I was using the EBA skin, if that makes any difference. Funny thing is, it still recorded me on the online leaderboard.

I'm no coder, but if the exception wasn't handled by the program (as we know peppy is good at coding!) it maybe was an external problem with windows... as we have no error report from OSU, maybe more information on what you were doing, programs that were open, and if it had happened to you before would help

The other programs I had open were Firefox and mIRC. Attempting to 'debug' resulted in it just exiting the prompt.
Playing through with the Ouendan skin doesn't crash. Testing again with EBA skin...

Kylecito is right on that one - if you didn't get the "oops - an error has occurred" window coming up, it didn't happen in my code. This doesn't mean my code didn't *cause* the error to occur, but unless you can replicate this happening under certain condition, it is quite likely this is a windows fault.

I just edited it as you posted. Like I said in the edit, EBA skin crashed it again. If it matters, it goes to a black screen for longer than usual before crashing.
I'll have to look into this one when I get home tonight. It is quite likely a video memory allocation problem... though I'm not 100% sure.
If you go into "View Details" on the windows error message, does it display anything useful?

Seems like you're the only person having problems with the skinning thingy... As the images are supposedly loaded into memory before the song starts, what could be the cause of this? Maybe the icons displayed on the results screen?

Well, I redownloaded the song and it works fine now. I wonder what the problem was. This can be locked, I guess.
I have a few ideas of what could be causing it, and have made changes to hopefully avoid such errors in the future. New build will be up tonight or tomorrow .
