I don't know if it's possible or not but I couldn't find it in the options. Can we have a feature to lock the volume at a specific setting? I've hit the scroll wheel by accident a fair few times and either blown my ears off or subsequently had to play a match without volume because i have scroll wheel disabled during play.

Thanks for the tip! Still, it doesn't solve the problem of accidentally changing the volume. I don't want to have a heart attack from scrolling it to max by accident

If osu is not the main window, you can't change volume
If you play you notice
In editor you can also not change it afaik
