Pay attention: Taiko

These columns only show 0's.

I suppose the purpose of these should be show how many "big notes" were triggered with both sizes of the drum (I suppose, as on the score at the end of a song), but until now these are useless, and disturbing.
Zekira
Useless I agree, but disturbing?
MMzz
They give me more confidence as in I didn't miss any notes that wern't there.
Seeing 0's besides under the 300* section make me smile :D

No support

It's useless that's true. Really minor issue, but right. I can support this.

Yes.
'Geki' and 'Katu' are only for osu!standard...
And there's no 'Geki' or 'Katu' on Taiko ;_;

Anyway, support this :3
BTW...

Someone should check for grades of Taiko... [Just opinion]
Stefan
Bumping. (after a long time, puh)

osu!mania has got a own individual Ranking Table, to be fair let's do that for Taiko too.

Maybe make the 100 to 150, because it gives half points, and half accuracy, instead of 1/3
Maybe make the 'useless' things for Big Kat/Don

That would be a good idea, and it makes way more senses as currently.

Bumping. Can we finally remove the fact that two EXACTLY the same scores can have different "geki hits"? It's just confusing to anyone that doesn't get taiko; and unnecessary overall. baraatje's idea seems like a good use for it.

The Big Kat/Don are already in-game
Is that seriously not on the site? O.o

Whoops
They do
It's just for the name change then
300 150 Miss Big300 Big150 (idk how to call them) should be good right?
OzzyOzrock
If they are truly about whether or not a big note was hit correctly "or a 150" then that's still off.

Remember that old bug talked about where if you hit a big note correctly it may still show a regular hit instead of a successful big hit because of like, key delay or something? It's calculating that, which isn't accurate at all, hence two SS scores with the exact same points have different geki hits based on basically whether or not osu! read their keyboard's inputs differently.

Why 150? You don't get 300 points for a perfect hit every time, so it shouldn't be 300 either.

For this to make perfect sense, you would have to go away from the numbers and instead use words.

Also, for the finishers, there are a lot of cases where they do award double points cause they were pressed with both keys, but geki/katu number didn't increase. That's cause the mechanic is a little broken and is counting them only if they were pressed in the same frame iirc, so lower fps and lower quality kb -> more geki/katu.

Yeah, I should've mentioned that 150 is super inaccurate. But yeah other than tell people that I use a typewriter to play taiko there isn't much to having those numbers there, haha.

A finisher being counted as 2 normal hits. So the #300 will get 2, instead of the #Big300 getting 1.
But that is also the case in current ranking screen, so I think that doesn't matter much

My point is, other modes have nothing to do with taiko and 300. You don't get 300 for every hit in taiko. Every 10 consecutive hits you gain 80 more until you reach 1100. How is that 300 every hit? :p
Bara-
You also don't get 300 per hit in mania right?
