in my case, I play osu! an equal amount of time on two devices, (a desktop and a laptop). When I supported osu's server costs, I was expecting osu!direct to be more than just a faster way to download maps. About a year ago, I was dating someone, and I wasn't really into osu! at the time so when they purchased supporter for me for a month, i was never able to disprove what he said about osu!direct. Back then, he told me i would be able to sync downlaoded maps across devices. I thought it sounded pretty neat, but I didn't ever actually LOOK at osu!direct to even test that idea.
Nowadays, this is a problem for me because i often downlaod new maps on my desktop, and the only ways I see being able to have the same libraries on both computers is to transfer the new maps over to my laptop via flash disk, or manually re-downlaod all the maps one at a time.
Since osu!direct does not sync maps in the way I'm describing as of now, I think it would be a really cool feature to have for supporters with multiple PCs.
