I'm Chronoman, and I've been playing for a while now (mostly Taiko, since I use a laptop), but I haven't really used the forums much. So... yeah.
Also, does anyone know exactly what it means when it says:

extract the .rar into your osu! Songs directory


in the beatmap pack download instructions? If it means just to place the .rar in the directory, I've done that, but it won't extract the beatmaps like how the instructions claim it will.

From what I'm reading, you'd have to manually extract that .rar .

Get a program such as WinRAR ( http://rarlab.com ) and extract it. Don't worry about that trial stuff, you will still be able to use WinRAR after its expiration. And it's really worth it if you're planning to download other things on the Internet, since most compressed files are .rar'd.

Ah, thanks. I don't mean to advertise or anything, but I've made my first beatmap (has a couple difficulties), if anyone wants to take a look.

Submit it and put a link here, if it's submitted people will find it anyways in the song lists.

I looked at your map and put some things in the topic.

Also you can use 7zip for the .rar things, I prefer it because it works a lot faster here.
