  • Version 1.2 Updates
  1. Completely replaced mod menu with my own menu
  2. Added my own buttons
  3. Added my own follow points
  4. Added my own score numbers
  5. Added my own reverse arrow, looks similar to the one before as I intended to make it similar. I don't know how he/she did it without leaving the giant ring I did.
Hey guys i've been working on a skin for a couple of days. The idea behind it is more of a pro tryhard skin ingame for minimal distractions with a fun vocaloid theme on the menus. Im looking for some feed back on it as this is my first skin. I hope some of you guys enjoy and be sure to tell me what you like and dislike ;)

This skin is not intended to be flashy or look like the shit in game. It is designed to be easy on the eyes in game and give a very clean feel. While not in game it looks decent imo. It is made to be entertaining out of game and efficient and effective at avoiding distractions in game. While not looking like shit the rest of the time.





Some things i'm aware of
I understand the hp bar looks god awful. It's pretty difficult to skin in my opinion. Although, some people have told me they like it. But I will skin everything I can in standard mode. And if people actually like this skin for some reason I may skin other modes for them.

I'll work on getting a video of a replay with the skin so you guys can have a better gauge of what it looks like ingame.

Plain white circles with plain white numbers and plain blue cursor has been done many many times before.

Not saying this skin is bad it looks alright I'm just saying that this has been done and done again so many times that it needs something flashy to be original.

I understand where your coming from with it being pretty "bland" and not very "flashy", but that in my mind is the point of the skin. I made this for the players who want minimal distractions in game and something decent to look at out of game. It probably won't be for everyone but I hope a few will like it and use it.

The skin was surprisingly comfortable to play with (I usually hate skins with only one hit circle on it rather than two).

+ comfortable to play with
+ notification sounds and some other ones are nice
+ follow points are sexy
- reversearrow.png could be made a bit brighter
- sliderfollowcircle.png could be a bit smaller (or maybe I'm just used to smaller ones)
- menu-button-background.png makes the words a bit hard to read
- Miku in ranking-panel.png could be faded a bit more, might make it easier to see the light numbers

Might add more later

I love it so far . I've just noticed that the miku from the menu-back does not look that great (I don't know why but I just feel that something's wrong whit it) and that the combobursts might be a bit too big ( but it's just my opinion because they have almost the same size as the default comboburst)

Gonna use it for sure ;)

Edit: The spinner feel really satisfying :O

Im looking for your opinion. The current spinner, I believe it should be included in the 1.1 download, has no ring to tell you when your out of time or what ever. I personally think this is good because it forces you to keep spinning since you don't know. But would you rather have the spinner without the circle or with it?

I'll try to work on a better back button and the combo bursts. I don't normally have them on so I haven't noticed the issue but ill get on it.

I really like the spinner the way it is , it just feel better to spin whitout it because you don't have to 'stress' and try to go faster when you don't have enough time. But it's just my opinion :P

It's a bit distracting imo. It felt easy to spin with, but it's unnecessary for a minimalist skin.

I forgot to say to remove the mixed elements in the skin and clean up unnecessary files (like unskinned elements). Also I think sliderb0.png is from a skin I posted a few months ago.

I dunnow if it's me, but the spinner makes me lag a lot...everytime there's a spinner I lose :cry:

Yes, that's the only spinner that makes me lag.
I usually use WubWoofWolf skin (v1.6) on a 2010 Asus Laptop, dunnow wich model :P

Well, I went searching and may have found some solutions. If you have OS TabletPC support enabled disable it. You can also check use old skin behavior in the skins section of options. You can switch to fullscreen if your not in it. Or you can try to change resolution. I hope these help but i've never encountered this problem before so I don't really know what to tell you to do.

well, I played 2 songs and I noticed that lags only when I hold the cursor over the edge.
Can u explain me how to change the spin or link me to a guide?

go into the skin folder and search for spinner-circle.png and delete it. This will replace my spinner with the default osu! spinner

Nope it's not the spinner-circle that makes me lag, bcs it lags even with the default osu! spinner.

Edit:Ok it's not the spinner, it's the complete skin. Even when the map bmap start and I'm w8ing for the notes, if I touch the edge of the screen it lags.

My skin uses a lot of large images so it probably won't run well on low end machines.

Nice work, although this skin clearly doesn't suit me. The combination of the hit circles being too bland and one combo colour makes it hard for me to focus my eyes on each hit circle. The 100's ended up being more stimulating to my eyes than the hitcircles. Nice followpoints and cursor though.

Thanks. I knew this wouldn't be for everyone. Because my reaction is the opposite. More than 1 hit color causes me to lose focus. But I may end up adding a version with more than 1 hit color for people like you.

So, I've been using your skin for the last 4 days and I actually like it really much. You should work a little bit on the fail background (text looks tacked on), the menu buton background, the pause overlay (christmas is over). Cosmetic stuff. Find a theme for your skin, maybe.

The in-game part of the skin is excellent imo. You could work on the scorebar if you wish so, though I never even look at it so I don't mind. Everything else in game seems good. The cursor and followpoints especially are very good. So are the sliders, hitcircles, hitsounds, etc.

EDIT:By the way, you need to replace your empty ranking-perfect file with something else. It's kinda annoying not to have an indication of when you fc something or not.

I've been very inactive with this because winter break has ended and school has started again. But its the weekend so i'll try to get a lot done with it.

Cool skin, i like how simple it is but i will agree with them saying it could stand out from the rest but it doesn't need to since that wasn't what you were looking for. Keep it up.

Just found this skin, and I really like it! My older skin was good, but the numbers in the hit circle were a bit hard to read. This skin was really straight forward and I found it easy to play. Keep it up! I would like the color maybe to be at least a tinted white, just to not make it too plain. This comment might be a bit late since you probably moved to other skins, but that's it!

Hit circles is like www's skin but the slider I love em, great skin!

PS: How to change the slider arrow's color? not that I hate purple but I just want a bright cyan color thanks
