The problem: So I came up with this idea. There are many times where I like a skin and I just want to see how it will look like with a different cursor. The whole process is tiring, I have to quit osu, copy-paste the cursor, see how it looks and if I want another one I have to repeat the whole process.
My suggestion: Instead of having the cursor, cursortail and star2 png files, every skin should have the following:
cursor0.png cursortail0.png star20.png (the default cursor)
cursor1.png cursortail1.png star21.png (a custom cursor I added to the skin)
cursor2.png cursortail2.png star22.png (another one)
cursor3.png cursortail3.png star23.png (and another...)
etc etc
then in the options menu there should be a drop down list (like the one that lets you pick skins), containing these cursors the skin contains. That way we will be able to add a cursor to a skin once and have it stay there, using it when we want, without having to restart osu and meddle with the skin files all the time.
Hope it sounds good
