Hitsound Mod
very impressive pattern for me, well i dont care bout rankable or not XD haha since most modder above say so orz
btw i can see that u dont use hitsound at all BUT u do add some default hitsound,
so i have a very damn good and fast hitsound mod, follow the step below ^^

[Hitsound]
  • First download this 4 , rename and put inside song folder.
  1. Download and rename this into soft-hitclap.wav
    Rename into soft-hitnormal.wav
    Rename into normal-hitnormal.wav
    Rename into normal-hitclap.wav
    then put all of them inside song folder ^^
  2. Then on every dif, press F6 > CTRL+A > select Audio tab, > choose Custom1 > ok.
    Check your whole dif's hitsound ^^ , im sure it will sounds whole better if u follow the above step just right...
  3. THat's all thou, feel free to adjust the volume, or catch me in-game if u have things to ask...
    finally it might be a good idea to use and add silent hitsound on soft-sliderslide and normal-sldierslide as well...

Oh shit, I promised I will recheck, my OS corrupted my whole C:\ drive so I didn't have it good lately, I will mod it now again and edit this post.

[General]
  1. The 'hit' for the soft and normal custom sets is too low, I can barely hear it while playing, it is necessary to to hear them clearly to have feedback.
  2. The slidertick is really strong and it is unencessary in almost 90% of the places, you have to either manually mute it in the slider using new inherited points, or modify the sliderticks, or the hitsound itself.
[Insane]
  1. 00:06:136 (4,5) - Still, try to blanket those a bit better, the curve in 5 is not following the circlehit properly. Look closely: http://puu.sh/ek56Z/6f5183a274.jpg
  2. 00:06:442 (5) - The whistles don't fit here at all..
  3. 00:08:891 (1) - One whistle in the start is enough, the second one is unnecessary. If you want to follow the music more properly add an other whistle at the start of 00:09:350 (3) -
  4. 00:12:564 (4) - I remember you said you play without hitsounds, do you add hitsounds by mistake or was this intentional? The clap is wrong and shouldn't be used here.
  5. I think you should activate the hitsound and go over them again, some are random and some don't fit at all..
  6. 00:30:932 (1) - Move to x=132 to flow with the stream better
  7. I think I noticed something, when you want to add a hitsound to a slider, press either on the HEAD or the END of it, after it glows red, pick the hitsound, because it seems like you attach hitsounds to the sliders themselves..
  8. 03:46:238 (1) - If you can make the slider go a bit more after the circle it'd look much much better.
  9. 03:54:350 (1) - There's no beat on the end of it and it feels too forced, I'd remove it.
  10. 03:59:707 (1) - It looks cool but it ends and starts in awkward places, the finish isn't necessary in the beginning(it is a finish!), and the slider ends on a place that has no beat at all, if you can make it end on the place where the spinner starts, that'd be great.
Overall this diff is fun and nice to play but the hitsounds should be improved a bit here.

  1. 00:06:442 (1,2) - You should try to improve the blanket here.
  2. 00:10:115 (3,4) - Change those sliders, they don't look the best and they blanket each other really poorly.
  3. 00:15:779 (6,1) - Blanket can be improved here too.
  4. 00:17:922 (3,4) - A slider that starts on 3 and ends on the start of 4 will sound much better because it follows the vocals more properly here.
  5. 00:37:360 (5,6) - It is really cool but it is tooooo much confusing for Hard, you should change it.
  6. 00:40:728 (1,2,3,4) - You don't follow the vocals here, and if you want to follow the beat you are missing strong beats and it plays really awkwardly.
  7. 00:43:177 (1,2,3,4) - Try to avoid those overlaps.
  8. 00:52:513 - Why isn't there a note? The pause in kiai time is just awkward, this part is intense, follow the beat!
  9. 00:56:952 (2,3) - You can improve the blanket here.
  10. 01:23:585 (5,6) - ^
  11. 01:57:871 (7) - Use 1/3 BSP.. It is a slider. Also, why soft hitsounds? There are clearly strong drums, you should put some hitsounds here as well.

  13. 02:45:013 (1,3) - Stack properly.
  14. 03:06:901 (1) - Blanket better.

  4. 02:37:513 (1) - there are some slider that can't be in a map because it is unlcear, i think this could be one of those.
    if you ignore it anyway the map becomes unrankable i don't know the details, but i certainly would do something about the weird shaped slider.
  5. 03:18:687 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - these notes are placed weirdly, i would change it.
  6. 03:27:258 (1) - again, reduce volume or delete hitsounds on these shaped sliders.
  7. 03:43:100 (5) - i don't think you ever used the blue tickle. i might be wrong, but i wouldn't recommend just putting one note in the song on a blue tickle.
  8. 03:59:707 (1) - ummm... when i was scrolling to the end of the song, i swa a giant(butterly?). it kind of filled the screen and as a result,
    i shocked because i didn't expect that. i wouldn't throw it away because it is a nice piece of slider art( that is a compliment :) ),
    but i dont think you should use it in the map. just do a spinner, it may be one of those slider that make your map unrankable

My opinion is fully self-taste based and also my first mod ever. Sorry for any typos and mistakes.
Overall feeling: I liked the map, but some places were not very nice.
First thing that I thought after first playing - hitsounds are too low... There is no need in map if I just want to hear a song. Btw volume of Normal and Finish sounds is too disbalanced. I think you should to make normal hits louder, it was more comfortable to play with louder ones, but even 100% of those custom sounds are very low. Or is it called 2014 mapping? I'm really not familiar with it. Whistles are a bit out of theme maybe... Or more likely it is my whistle disliking only. Also in whole thing it sounds too plain, I can suggest more accents with finishsounds in kiai sections, the most part must be most powerful and loud - then no point in kiai if not to make it such I think.
I'll try to write it below, because I can instinctively add it and forget to say where it is.
One more point - too many sliders and same snowflake pattern, well, it may be your style but I suggest to replace some sliders with circle formations for more fun.
Btw grid is so tiny that my formations might be skewed, do not mind, just see the main idea.
PS: I may forget to mention some points so I'll leave you my mod in .osu file here. Sorry if you wanted my mod to be more textful in this post, sometimes I can not find words to describe what I want to say ><

I just watched autoplaying but I wanted to change a lot of things there, but this is hard for me to testplay so maybe I have no right to say so.) But there are a lot of insane players now so they can help you more.
So I just can recommend changing hitsounds once more (close to what I said in Hard earlier) and more intuitive following to the rhythm/lyrics.
I liked ~50/50 of sliders/circles percentage, nice balance.
Lovely final sliderart.) But I really hate it while playing though xD.

This one is nice I think, I'm not good with Normals while playing, but this one was rather good and relaxing. Following was smoother than in harder ones, or maybe that's because of big simpleness for me. The only things I found to change are ending spinners (see Hard mod) and ending with confusing part:

My opinion is fully self-taste based and also my first mod ever. Sorry for any typos and mistakes.
Overall feeling: I liked the map, but some places were not very nice.
First thing that I thought after first playing - hitsounds are too low... There is no need in map if I just want to hear a song. Btw volume of Normal and Finish sounds is too disbalanced. I think you should to make normal hits louder, it was more comfortable to play with louder ones, but even 100% of those custom sounds are very low. Or is it called 2014 mapping? I'm really not familiar with it. Whistles are a bit out of theme maybe... Or more likely it is my whistle disliking only. Also in whole thing it sounds too plain, I can suggest more accents with finishsounds in kiai sections, the most part must be most powerful and loud - then no point in kiai if not to make it such I think.
I'll try to write it below, because I can instinctively add it and forget to say where it is.
One more point - too many sliders and same snowflake pattern, well, it may be your style but I suggest to replace some sliders with circle formations for more fun.
Btw grid is so tiny that my formations might be skewed, do not mind, just see the main idea.
PS: I may forget to mention some points so I'll leave you my mod in .osu file here. Sorry if you wanted my mod to be more textful in this post, sometimes I can not find words to describe what I want to say ><

This difficulty is right at the upper limit of my ability, so gameplay-wise I can't really offer much. As far as I can tell it seems good but for a few minor things:
01:13:636 (1) - Was having the slider body sticking out very slightly past the beginning of the slider intentional?
02:11:187 (1) - The end of the slider is off the top of the grid. I don't know for sure if that's not okay, so if it's fine then feel free to disregard this point.
03:59:707 (1) - That's a very pretty slider, but it is sticking out the sides of the grid area.


Good luck getting this ranked, you've got a pretty good map here already.

Hey! No worries. I really appreciate the mod :).

You can find the emblem in the second opening :). Make sure you're watching the Konno Yuuki version tho~. You can see the heart floating down during the intro, and also in the background when Yuuki and Asuna are chopping up air right before the chorus. xD

Overall: The mapset is very nice, mapped well. Some improvements should be taken into account, but overall good job on the timing and beats of the objects. Only one thing I noticed is that each difficulty (I'm not sure about insane though) had different parts mapped. If I were you, I would map the same parts of the song for each difficulty

i stopped looking after my last point so just go through and look for more

I'll stop here, I saw some pretty cool patterns but they're just really unpolished right now

one thing though, it's probably unrankalbe because the sides are overlapping and don't have a definite course throughout the slider

ok so your New Combo pattern is totally whack, respecially in the kiai. You're switching between every measure and every 2 measures which is a very confusing thing to do, especially when the music doesnt change much rhythmically
I suggest to NC every measure (every time there is a white tick), it makes ur NCing clean and simple.
i stopped looking after my last point so just go through and look for more

I decided to keep some NC because starting a new combo mid-pattern seems odd to me.

I'll stop here, I saw some pretty cool patterns but they're just really unpolished right now

one thing though, it's probably unrankalbe because the sides are overlapping and don't have a definite course throughout the slider Will wait for BAT before reducing this back to a generic spinner ;___;

Your hitsounds are really quiet, especially the hitnormals. I can't hear any of the notes.

How to clap hitsound: put a clap on every 2nd and 4th white tick when it appears in the music. Most of the time it will be at these times, maybe they will add extra claps in other places, but you don't want to use claps when they don't belong.

The normal whistles though, it's best if you remove them all for now since you have some covering the entire slider, which people don't like now. They are meant to emphasize parts of the music and are used on circles or slider heads/tails, not slider bodies.

Your hitsounds are really quiet, especially the hitnormals. I can't hear any of the notes.

How to clap hitsound: put a clap on every 2nd and 4th white tick when it appears in the music. Most of the time it will be at these times, maybe they will add extra claps in other places, but you don't want to use claps when they don't belong.

The normal whistles though, it's best if you remove them all for now since you have some covering the entire slider, which people don't like now. They are meant to emphasize parts of the music and are used on circles or slider heads/tails, not slider bodies.

Also the same thing that sliders should start on the white tick in most cases. Ended up remapping this whole part. Tried your suggestion and kept your rhythm but changed all the patterns haha.

This might be just me, but I'd say that hitsounds are not loud enough on occasions.
The hitclaps are used really freely, but I don't think that is a godd idea because of its function. I would rather maintain a constant beat with them.

Apologies for the delay in responding to mods, -Nya- and Sala- I have read them and made appropriate changes. Will post proper response soon!

I am in the process of redoing all my hitsounds, and i'm almost done! Increased volume from 50%/60% to 80%. Also completely redid the clap-rhythm. 2nd and 4th beat now :).
