If someone requests or reports something that has already been requested but not yet denied, the duplicate is marked as [Denied] even though the original request hasn't been denied. This gets kind of confusing when looking through the topics. Could there be an option for marking a thread as [Duplicate]?

That would indeed help, when people see that duplicate tag they will go look for the original instead of thinking it's been denied.
