I have palmer hyerhidrosis which is basically excessive hand sweating, I want to get gloves to stop my hands from slipping off my mouse etc but I'm not sure if this would throw me off at all, thoughts?

The worst thing that can happen is that you have to accustom to play with gloves. Try it out 
Sure, it would probably keep your hands warmer too which is nice
of course, but once you get used to it, you can probably play just as well as before
I have the same problem as you but not that much. I'd rather get accustomed to playing with a thin tissue on my hand instead of gloves which really hinders your mouse control.
You could try those thin snooker gloves (3 or 5 finger ones). They're designed for snug fit and deals with perspirations too.

I think it might.I don't use anything to cover my mouse while playing. But what I do is, I wipe my hands,mouse and keyboard real quick when I get the chance. God, my hands are so wet. Typing on mobile is torture.

I sometimes use fingerless gloves when the environment I'm in is too cold and my hands become unresponsive. Personally it does feel awkward wearing gloves while playing, and just as awkward after taking them off and continuing to play, you'll eventually get used to wearing gloves while playing.
It'll most likely be better than sweating and slipping everywhere
i actually fell you guys with sweaty hands, i dont have some sort of thing tho, its just hot in my country to my hand slips around on my tablet and pen, its horrible :c
Actually, for me is better when my mouse-hand is wet, I play better.

I actually always wear a fingerless glove on my right hand while playing. Not because my hands are getting sweaty fast or something like that..I just think it's much more comfortable, and I can hold the Pen easier than without one :>
